[2] Super smooth set up, solid build quality, light weight but SURELY rugged, and the height is GREAT without needing to manage “multiple” stages. I needed a set of sticks to replace a set of Cartoni’s system that I acquired… and I didn’t want to pair the Cartoni head with yet another set of Monfotto sticks (I already had 4. Super sidebar…. The 504 is the best head of all time for the price range!! Discontinued… such heartbreak!!). This tripod system… GREAT CALL! GREAT BUY! My order came with a slew of additional parts (ground spreaders and mid teir brackets as options for shooting styles (phenomal way to extend the functionalities of the system) and a solid carry bag too. The turning knobs to lock the system are snug and secure… and very easy to set when you need to move swiftly, or get them locked with confidence if your reach and grip isn’t initially “fully on it” when trying to set it. They set securely with ease!

Con: The ONLY one… which is admittedly petty, but I wish the handles of the carry bag weren’t in the center because the tripod head makes the bag’s weight unevenly distributed. If the straps were sewn-in off center, it would better off-set the uneven weight of the assembled tripod.

[100 mm Bowl] I was having a hard time finding a Tripod that would be taller than 6' fully extended until I found this Sirui SH25T Tripod. This does everything I need a Tripod to do.


But what really impressed me was the 6-year warranty that came with the Tripod. There were only a couple camera manufactures that offered this warranty but what rally impress me was that there were two handles one was for panning and the other was for tilting. Which in my opinion was such a nice feature.


Tripod was made with heavy Aluminum and with the Video head weights around 13 pounds and has a load capacity of 22 pounds for your video equipment. This I thought was very useful when I am taking photos or making videos. Dd not have to carry two tripods when this one will do the job for both of them.


A heavy carrying case is included with the Tripod but I was hoping to find a pouch or a pocket inside the case to store an extra video had plate and the bag of tools that came with the Tripod but there was no pouch/ pocket in the carrying case no big deal i can live with this feature missing from the case.

[18.55 lb] I was looking for a affordable heavy tripod that could handle my Ursa Broadcast G2 fully rigged. This tripod handles it like a champ. I love the tilt and pan resistance as well as the counter balance feature. The bottom and mid level splitters are also a very nice feature to keep your tripod sturdy!

[Aluminum] I can set these legs within 10 seconds.... unbelievable.

[Spiked] Very good tripod setup for light/mid-size cam builds. I have not had for long so these are initial impressions:
Comes with a sling bag and also a head bag. Nice. Dual handles included. Both spreaders included.


Legs:
EXCELLENT legs, very good build quality. The locks are similar to Ronford-style which is very nice - much better feeling than Sachtler-style.
They include floor spreaders and mid-level. The mid-spreaders are a nice design, variable angle through a large friction knob. The clips to release them are VERY cleverly designed and much quicker than my Sachtler or Vintens.


The Head:
VERY smooth. You cannot compare this to any of the other lightweight heads, it simply blows them away. Solid aluminum build without feeling bulky/heavy. Enough drag, enough drag settings. The lightest balance setting is a few LB (feels like about 4lb or higher c.g.). Pan and tilt drag feel to be equal which is important. Bubble level is illuminated and there's one on the deck as well which should help with tilt/shift lenses when you want to keep things all perpendicular. The tie-down is VERY long but has great grip, very positive lock. Best feature - the plate IS MANFROTTO 501 compatible!!! This is a BIG deal and under-hyped. Ronin-S dovetail fits! Go back and forth between gimbal and sticks!


This head does fit on the Manfrotto 535 carbon legs for super hi/low/lightweight.

[2] I did some quick research, since I never heard of this brand, and couldn't find many reviews online. Made in China, so I thought it might be a little cheap and flimsy, but for the price I thought it was worth it to take a chance. I was surprised beyond words. It's as good or better than other tripods I've worked with, including Sachtler and Miller.

[100 mm Bowl] I'm using the head in a hockey facility, lots of pans! Very smooth, and resembles the higher priced heads. I'm happy with it.

[2] This is the best deal for a 50lb+ capacity carbon fiber tripod. We are filming with larger camera rigs, over 20 pound and the Manfroto 546B can't handle that load. We purchased the Sirui BCT-3202 from B&H flash sale for $350 and with a $50 rebate. The first thing we noticed is how light the Sirui BCT-3202 compared to the Manfroto 546B. The Sirui BCT-3202 is rock solid, holds our rig with no creeping or movement and handles vibrations better. The Sirui BCT-3202 is a great deal, for under $1000 this tripod is a steal. Our only regret is that we did not buy more for the $350 price. At the $589 price the
Sirui BCT-3202 can compete with tripods in the $2000 price range.

[Spiked] I went to the B&H store to try out all the heads looking for a replacement for my broken Manfrotto (terrible experience with this brand everything I have owned has been junk after a couple years). I ended up loving the Miller head, but was super expensive. I needed something all metal and built to last more than a couple years. 

After trying every single head in my price range, I came on this head. Similar price to the Benro and Sachtler heads, but much better built. The others were mostly, or all plastic. Would probably not survive a fall. The Sirui heads are very nice. All metal, quality parts everywhere, great features.

Drag selectors are pretty easy to grab and change, though dials are a bit small. Counter balance is good for my 8lb camera at setting 1. One thing I wish was improved would be the amount of drag on the pan. Its a bit weak still at level 3. 

Comes with a nice case and the baseplate is quality. Overall, this is a really great head and considering its half the price of the Miller I think its a great buy and definitely an improvement over all other Manfrotto products I have owned.
