A: It is best for photos with metallic elements, high contrast, reflections, or other striking visual elements. Unfortunately they do not offer this in one of their sampler packs currently.

A: The filter is very new and some information is not out yet. As of now it seems the frame is brass like the other models.

A: It is possible to use the Sound Devices MixPre-3 II Field Recorder while it inside of the K-Tek KSUHX X-Series Stingray Utility Hip Pack and your microphones connected with XLR cables and mounted on boom poles.

Q: 6. Can the camera be mounted at 90 degrees?

A: I see no reason why it would not work. You will need to design mount for the PTZOptics Large Universal Rounded Nose Wall Mount to attach to so that the camera is positioned at 90 deg. The mount is designed to support wall mounting where the top of the camera is facing vertically up or down. If you want the camera top in a horizontal position you would need to design a wood block extension to attach the mount to.

A: Hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings on glass elements and filters such as the Sigma 95mm WR Ceramic Protector Filter (B&H# SICGC95) are typically fluorine-based rather than titanium-based, as the later would block much visible light. It causes most water to bead and roll off if there is any incline to the angle at which the filter is held. When dealing with water droplets and splashes, I have found this type of coating sheds most water without my needing to address it at all. When a water droplet does not roll off right away, I just blow on it to shed it without having to take a break to wipe the lens or filter. I do not need to touch the element at all and I'm immediately back to shooting.
