[0.75" / 19 mm] Very low flutter; under .09% and the pitch is excellent, no adjustment needed. (what you see with direct-drive units) Warm sound, good channel balance with included cartage. Anti-skating works properly to through out the inner and outer groves. 5

[DC] We upgraded from the audiotechnica 120 to the DP-400 and from the first lick on the first album played you could hear the difference. I recommend this turntable 5

[15 lb] The VINYL 500 arrived as tracked, was well packaged and all components were included. Set up was straight forward except for wireless speakers (hardwire audio output was easy). I bought 2 Yamaha WX-010 multicast speakers to work wireless with the 500. After working with Yamaha technical support (including 2nd level) the system works well - great sound - (500 plus stereo wireless speakers). Because my main wireless is busy, there are some dropouts I may try to work with Yamaha to try the hardwire network or add another wireless extension. Great customer technical support. 5

[0.75" / 19 mm] I've been going back to my vinyl and CD's. While I really like listening to the vinyl now, I have so many CD's I still love as well. This CD player is extremely good quality, with the basic features I wanted, and the fiber output I wanted as well. And it looks great in the media rack above my ne Yamaha receiver! 5
