A: Hi there I have two AX100 I use them shooting only in 4K of local performances of local professional playhouses for their history. I work with another guy who has four AX100 so we combined him and completely cover the stage. We only by the Sony batteries. I was shooting man from La Mancha, using ( Vivitar FV100) all of a sudden the camera shut down the battery was showing that it still had at least 20 minutes left there wasn't enough left to right to the chip so I lost everything the whole show. We never recovered that play my portion was to shoot only faces so we lost all the close-ups it's amazing you haven't heard me scream and shout. Only use Sony batteries. A: No it does not.

Q: 10. Why does it say it has larger capacity than the NP-FV100 when it has 3410 mAh and the older has 3700 or more? Why should it last more?

A: I was frustrated by the same thing and could not get an answer from Sony. I went with the NP-FV100A because I could not find the NP-FV100 anywhere. I think it was discontinued.
