[Skip Preflash] I never expected to write a review about a speedlight entitled life-changing, but here I am. This bad boy is what I've always wanted from a speedlight. It's reliable, functional, I can adjust the power of my off-camera flashes using this on-camera, I can easily switch between lighting setups during busy wedding moments, and best of all... NO AA BATTERIES! I've sold all my old rechargeable batteries and will never look back. Yongnuo claims this speedlight will fire somewhere around 600 or 700 full power flashes on one battery charge, and they are absolutely correct. I shot not one but two back-to-back weddings without charging the battery. Barely, but I did it. I purchased three speedlights and three extra batteries (for a total of six) just to be totally safe. I'll be purchasing more in the future and absolutely recommend these to any photographer who will listen.

[6] I use these as off camera flash syncing to my Canon EL-5 on camera. Love the lithium batteries long life and that they maintain wireless connection to the EL-5, unlike undependable connection of other EL-5 as off camera.

[2x 18650] I have been working with Yongnuo for years, they have never failed me and today with these flashes I bought two, they will fill my photos with creativity. 18650 battery lasts long enough

[2x 18650] Best speedlight ever made!!!
Namely due to the rechargeable Lithium battery that holds a charge through hundreds of uses.

[Shoe] I'm using these lights for weddings, both for portraits with umbrellas and also for room lights. Previously I was using the model that takes AA batteries. I kept them in case of travel jobs since you can't take Lithium on a plane. (Note that you should get 18650 batteries with a flat Plus end otherwise they might not fit.) The flashes cost less than what Canon charged me for years just to replace the hot shoes on their shoe mount flashes which broke off regularly. Since they're so cheap If the Yongnuo flashes break I just toss them out, but they have been as reliable as Canon lights for a fraction of the price. With the built in radios I can easily control all my lights from the on camera flash.

[270°] This is a great piece of equipment for my macro photography. I have used it for over a year and the rechargeable battery proves to be a very long lasting one. I would highly recommend this light to anyone who is on a budget but also wants quality equipment. You can also use this wirelessly with various triggers from Yongnuo and have it control other speed lights as well.
