Designed for data centers and other electrically demanding applications, the CyberPower PDU15B10R Basic Power Distribution Unitfrom CyberPower PDU15B10R Basic Power Distribution Unitprovides an output of 100-125V at 15A (derated to 12A). It distributes that power to 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets (rear) from a single 15' NEMA 5-15P plug with unfiltered electrical passthrough. The PDU15B10R has a rugged, industrial-grade metal housing and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. It is ETL/RoHS certified and includes a cord retention tray, a screw kit, a cord clip kit, horizontal mounting brackets, and vertical mounting brackets. Protection is provided by a limited lifetime warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions.

Q: 1. Are you able to use this unit with a digital printer?

A: Hello Barbara, this will depend if the digital printer in question is a laser printer. We do NOT recommending using Cyberpower UPS's with laser printers. The power demands of these devices will overload and possibly damage the unit. Thank you for submitting your question!

Q: 2. Can I plug a surge protector that has multiple devices on it into this to protect them all from just one outlet?

A: It is not recommended to plug power strips into power strips and in some cases it may be a OSHA or code violation.

Q: 3. Is the battery inside replaceable?

A: The CyberPower EC750G does not have a user-replaceable battery.

Q: 4. Will this be a good UPS for the Buffalo TeraStation 16TB WS5020 4-Bay NAS Server (4 x 4TB)?

Q: 6. how many hours will provide power?

A: Depends on what you have running off of it. With a desktop, 2 monitors, router, modem, and NAS drive I have about 30 minutes on battery back-up. Enough time to save all my work and properly shut down.

Q: 7. is power monitoring at the socket level?

A: Yes, the load passing through the APC Metered Rack Power Distribution Unit (30A, 208V) can be monitored at the socket level.

Q: 8. does this have an indicator showing if the battery is working properly and can the battery be replaced?

A: The battery is replaceable and hot-swappable. The monitors include: LED Indicators Power On, Wiring FaultAudible Alarms On Battery, Low Battery, Overload, FaultYou will also have the software to monitor its performance.

Q: 10. I tried to turn on the UPS but nothing comes on this display screen, I only hear the deeps. I charged for more than 8 hours but it still doesn't turn on is that normally?

A: No that is not normal. In fact I did not charge mine at all I just plugged it in and plugged my equipment into it and it came on no problem.Just to ask a stupid question you are sure that the outlet you have the ups plugged into is working and has power right?If that outlet is working correctly I think there is something wrong with your UPS. Either the display is broken/internal disconnected or the battery(s?) are internally disconnected or something like that. There might be an option to turn the display off (maybe via the USB interface) but I am sure you would remember dong something like that.Just to see where the problem might be try connecting anything to the ups (like a lamp) and see if it turns on. Then pull the plug on the ups and see if the lamp (or whatever) stays on. That will tell you if it is just the display is bad or it is something else. Either way you should exchange it for one that works as expected.Good Luck!

[15 A] Got this PDU to upgrade a Bretford computer cart that had only three outlets to move a Dell Precision workstation + 32 4K monitor around the campus. You can never have enough outlets for all your peripherals and this PDU provides plenty. Best part are the two front outlets (though spacing them wider would be nice), wish this was a more common feature in PDUs. The flexible mounting options are a plus (comes with two pairs of mounting tabs - one for flush mount, the other for recessed/elevated mounting). Also appreciate having a dedicated grounding post to allow bonding the entire cart (or server rack) to ground. Minor issue, the six holes on the ends of the PDU for the mounting tabs are not symmetrical/equally spaced, so it makes installing the tabs slightly more complicated than it could be. Not sure if I'll use the cord retention bar which has slots for zip-tying each cord (zip-ties are included), but the bar easily attaches with four small screws and can be adjusted up or down. CyberPower does commit one of my pet peeves - using two different screw sizes (one for the mounting tabs, another for the retention bar) for user-assembled parts when just one size screw would not significantly increase the cost of manufacturing the product as this simplify things for the end user (especially if you end up loosing a screw). 5

[Yes] Sometimes you just need a lot of 120V receptacles in a minimal (vertical) PDU. This is often the answer, as it has (24), simple, NEMA 5-20 outputs. Just make sure your UPS has an L5-30R to provide power to the input! 5
