The Nimbus WiMi5200 3G-SDI H.264 Wireless Decoder Receiverfrom Nimbus WiMi5200 3G-SDI H.264 Wireless Decoder Receiverpairs with an optional WiMi5200 transmitter as a point-to-point Wi-Fi transmission system with a 1968' range and only 30ms latency. With both units featuring built-in 5 GHz Wi-Fi, no additional network connection is required. The receiver accepts up to a 1080p60 SDI signal encoded in H.264 by the transmitter, and it decodes and outputs it as video.

The WiMi5200 receiver features a single 3G/HD/SD-SDI output. It offers a 1/4"-20 mounting thread on the bottom and comes with an L-series battery plate as well as a power adapter. Batteries are sold separately.

A: The AVMATRIX SE1217 H.265/264 HDMI Streaming Encoder does provide HTTP(HLS) protocol. The following protocols are provided in the device for streaming applications and decoders: RTMP/HTTP/RTSP/UNICAST/MULTICAST/RTP/SRT

A: Yes. The AVMATRIX SE1217 is capable of doing a horizontal image flip.

Q: 6. I have an IP camera that can generate h.264 rtp multicast streams. Can the Osprey G2 decode from an IP camera?

A: Yes it should as this decodes H.264 RTP/UDP multicast and unicast streams.

Q: 7. Can this receive a YouTube Live stream and decode it?

A: This will not be able to decode a Youtube Live Stream. This is meant to work with an encoder like the Osprey Talon G2 H.264 Encoder, BH #OSTG2ENC.

Q: 8. Is there a certain type of SD card or USB thumb drive that works best with this machine for recording audio and video?

A: The Datavideo H.264 Dual Streaming Encoder/Recorder has no recording with the USB, it is for Firmware updates only. The SD card Does not need to be UHS-II.

Q: 9. Does this encoder do 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 chroma subsampling?

A: Unfortunately AVMATRIX does not provide this information.

Q: 10. Can I send video from my Dji pocket 2 to this device through RMTP and take the HDMI out to my switcher for live streamiing? Is that even possible with this device?

A: The AVMatrix SE1217 H.265/264 HDMI Streaming Encoder, is intended to take an HDMI input and encode it for streaming. As the DJI Pocket 2 does not feature an HDMI output, it would not be compatible as an input to this encoder.

[SDI] These units are ideal for instant connect up and they work. You can customise the bit rate and it keeps the video smooth. One TX can feed many RX. 5

[12 (40 MHz)] Just note that this are single channels per box. So you essentially used the SDI output as an additional out which is nice and saves us a DA. Took a chance on an unknown player and happy to say they worked. These are the same guys that own lilliput (shared a booth at NAB at least) 5

[12 (40 MHz)] I used this one on my Sony AX2000 camcorder for a play I was recording. I needed a monitor that was lower than the camcorder and this was also larger. I found the HDMI connector works best. The composite was not clear at all and color washed out. I have a monitor already and needed an extra one for another camcorder. Can't beat the price. and the quality is just fine for what i do. 5

[SDI] I'm using this with a canon 6D and it make is so much easier to focus! You can trim the hue and contrast but I was missing focus without it and now, it's alway spot on! 5

[SMPTE 274M/296M] Bought this and its matching tx. They seem pretty good. You can select different definitions, FHD, HD, SD, and then can assign them to the 3 types, and allocate bit rates for each. Eg you can select HD, send that to SD and a bit rate of 800 and FHD to HD and a bit rate of 2000 etc. It then selects the resolution type, eg 720P. The only limitation I find a bit strange is that the full range of resolutions, are not available all the time. They vary what is available depending on the Hz, 50Hz or 60Hz of the incoming HDMI. I am using 60Hz, and this does not have 1080i, but if I was using 50Hz, then 1080i would be included. 60Hz has 480i, 480P, 720P, 1080P. 50Hz has 576i, 576P, 720P, 1080P, 1080i. The other strange thing I notice is that if I select a bit rate of 800Kbps, and then monitor the link at the IP level, it seems to be using about 3.5Mbps. However, for quality and ease of use, these seem to be great devices. 5

[≤ 30 ms] We use this as a simple HDMI preview monitor for an AJA ioXT unit, works great at 1080i. Well built and affordable plus it comes with an AC adapter not often included. 5

[≤ 30 ms] The Osprey is quite versatile and reliable. We have purchased dozens of the G1 & G2 encoders for use throughout numerous facilities in our extensive network. Our primary use is for multicasting, but we also do a number of unicasts and YouTube streams. Osprey tech support is so helpful and knowledgeable, which is another huge selling point. We have used numerous other manufacturers products (HaiVision, Evertz, Ensemble Design, and Lynx). All of them work fine but Osprey offered the best quality and reliability for the price. 5

[SDI] This monitor works great on the camera. You could spend a lot more, but I don't know why you would want to. The quality of the video on this monitor is great, there are multiple input choices and an audio monitor. Its construction seems rugged and durable and it fits nicely in a custom slot I built into my camera bag. I bought a universal monitor mount, but this unit came with one, so don't buy the mount unless you want an extra one. Sun shade is nice but is a bit fussy to snap on - not a deal breaker, though. I'm happy with this rig. 5
