Unleash the power of your Nikon D850 DSLR camera and your own creativity to capture stunning images and video of the underwater world with the Aquatica AD850 Pro Underwater Housing. Depth-rated for 295' (upgradeable to 426' upon request), the AD850 housing is equipped with an Ikelite strobe connector, a Surveyor monitoring sensor/moisture alarm with vacuum extracting valve and pump to monitor the integrity of the seal, and a Galileo style coated eyepiece which offers a full view of the camera's viewfinder.

The housing provides access to all camera functions via mechanical controls. Self-aligning controls for the on/off lever and Live View selector are spring loaded, so you don't have to worry about setting them properly when loading the camera, and the lens release, auto-focus mode and FN1 controls are in the saddle, allowing you to slide the camera in without pulling any levers. The AD850's ergonomic design features grips that offer improved handling and attachment points for optional lighting arms. The housing is constructed from anodized, machined aluminum and stainless steel for durability and resistance to corrosion.

The AD850 ships without a required lens port, though various interchangeable ports are available for wide-angle, macro, and zoom lenses. For full compatibility information, see the Port Chart.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will a leica m6 w/ 35mm cron fit?

A: Yes, it appears the Ewa-Marine D-B Underwater Housing For Mirrorless Cameras may work for your usage needs.

Q: 2. Does this also work for the Nikon Z6 body?

A: The Ikelite 200DL Underwater Housing for Nikon Z7 Mirrorless Digital Camera is also compatible with the Nikon Z6 Mirrorless Digital Camera.

Q: 3. Will this work on the PT 059 housing?

A: The Olympus O-Ring for PT-058 Underwater Housing is also compatible with the PT-059 housing.

Q: 4. Will this fit the gea 360 (2017 version) also, why is the case more expensive than the camera?

A: It's not for the Samsung Gear 360, it's for the Ricoh Theta versions V, S or C. The case has buttons on the outside that line up with the camera buttons & the Gear's buttons are in different places. It's a fair price for an underwater housing; the question should be: why is the camera so inexpensive? Answer: competition. You can reduce the case cost by buying the camera/case package: https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1377528-REG/ricoh_theta_v_kit_with.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1377528-REG/ricoh_theta_v_kit_with.html/a

Q: 5. Is this for the 5d mrk iii?

A: no for that camera use the U-B100

Q: 6. Would this be overkill for using the camera in rainy or snowy conditions?

A: The housing is designed to withstand 200ft of water pressure so it'll certainly keep your camera dry in rainy/snowy conditions. That being said, you may find it to be relatively bulky for the application. It would be a good choice if you want to take it underwater eventually.

Q: 7. What size is the tripod screw mount? The theta has a smaller-than-standard size, so I would like to know if the waterproof case is the smaller Theta size or the standard tripod size.

A: The Ricoh TW-1 Underwater Housing for Theta V, S, or SC will have a standard 1/4"-20 mount at the base of the housing.

Q: 8. Is the Ewa-Marine D-B housing compatible with the Nikon Z7?

A: It is but if you are planning on using adapted lenses or larger filter threaded lenses i would go to the U-A100

Q: 9. Will it work with the Z1 51GB?

A: No, this Underwater Housing TW-1 is not compatible with the Z1 Ricoh model camera.

Q: 10. Will an npf790 fit inside this housing? Or is the 770 the largest capacity battery that will fit?

A: Yes, the largest battery you should use with the Aquatica 5HD Underwater Monitor is a NP-F770 battery pack. It will not work with anything larger, such as an NP-F970 battery pack.

[8.77 lb] This is a really great housing. I have been using it for surf photography. The housings made for surf photography can run you a couple of thousand, minimum, so this one is an awesome way to get started! It's a bit tricky without being able to test the settings and the lens port requires some cropping in post when using wide angle lenses. Totally worth it though!

[8.77 lb] Keeping in mind, that I would have needed two seperate housings for my EOS 5D and EOS 7D if I had opted for a hard housing.... I would have spent about 10x as much or more! And would have ended up with the same photographic results....

[Not included] Loved the shots - it was easier to preset many of the controls first - no problems on vacation reef dive -way cheaper than a hard housing - flexible but has a glass lens port.

[Not included] I bought this about a year ago to do some underwater photography in Barbados. The housing worked great with my D850 with a 28mm Nikkor prime. Make sure to carefully follow the directions prior to use and cleaning after use. It will float, so you may want to add weights to make it less buoyant. I used it for snorkeling, which made it hard to dive down with it. If you added a little weight, it would be much better. Also make sure to get as many settings set before putting the housing on, as it is more difficult to monkey with it once youre in the ocean.

[Not included] Decided to get this over cheaper alternatives mainly due to:1) optical glass for better image quality2) adaptor to hold front of glass against your lens which really help in preventing any vignetting I do have previous experience using sports housings by aquatech for sports photography and got this more for casual beach side usage. Overall, am very satisfied by the quality of the housing and the images produced out of it.

[Not included] This waterproof case is dirt-simple, rugged, and relatively inexpensive. Our old Sony is a bit dated, but still a pretty good camera. Now that we have a new Nikon, I'll risk the old Sony for snorkeling duty in Central America this spring.

[6.7 lb / 3.1 kg] Here is the most important thing you will need to know... IT WORKS! Putting your 5D Mark III into a body of water with a $2500 dollar lens and a flash does not feel natural in any way the first time you ease it into the water. But life is life and if it was going to leak I was going to find out the hard way, It did not leak. Humidity packets that came with it got rid of fog. The only tricky thing is that you really need to dial in your settings before getting in there, or use it on full auto. I shoot in Pools in Manual and it worked fine with a bit of going back and adjusting settings again. Direct flash looks terrible underwater as it does above water, so I am still not sure I will use flash again for my underwater needs. Great thing is I can turn flash on and off through the housing anyways so, not a big deal to have there just in case. The plastic does warp your lcd image and makes it look cloudy, the first time I thought everything looked terrible until I took it out of the thick plastic housing. Bottom line, this works, and the company that makes it guarantees your gear in case of manufacturing failure. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!

[6.7 lb / 3.1 kg] I choose this 45 degree viewfinder because not always have plenty space to shoot being completely vertical. This viewfinder allows me to be horizontal and be able to shoot perfectly
