Q: 10. Can this be used to power strobes as it's a pure sine wave?

A: Yes. As long as your flash head is no more than 720 Watt second. I have tested this UPS with my Profoto Acute2R 2400 power pack with one Profoto Acute/D4 Head. The power pack must be set to the minimum setting of 1/4 power output. Otherwise, the UPS will shut down. Be gentle transporting the UPS to photoshoot locations and ensure the vents near the bottom side panels have proper clearance.

[NEMA L6-30P] this product is absolutely perfect for wanting to power cycle something at a remote location. You can set it to power cycle plugs on a schedule, you can set it to ping any IP address and power cycle a plug anytime it stops responding AND you can customize each button so you can remember what is plugged into each outlet. Great item!!!!

[Metal] These PDUs are a mix of old school architecture (24-NEMA 5-20R output connectors) and state-of-the-art design (2nd generation bright blue LCD display and metered-by-outlet / switchable outlets). Most data centers can be almost universally powered by 208V sources, these days, but you might just have a good reason to use NEMA 5-20P cables for your gear. These PDUs are as good as you can get for this application!
