A: Yes. The 7artisans Photoelectric 50mm f/1.8 Lens for Micro Four Thirds is compatible with the Panasonic GX7.

Q: 2. Is there a focus tab on the lens?

A: There is a focusing ring on the front of the lens, but not a tab.

Q: 3. Hi is the aperture ring the click stop type or smooth?

A: The following unit offers a de-clicked aperture ring ensures smooth, silent exposure adjustments for recording video.

Q: 4. I have the Fuji X-T100 and I just received this lens and it will not take a picture. I've re-formatted the card, turned the camera on and off..... The f-stop ring works, but that's it. Has anyone had this same issue, and has a work around?

A: It is an all manual lens so make sure you have the aperture, shutter and ISO all working together to make a correct exposure. If you still have an issue, please call or email us telling us about how it is not taking a picture.

Q: 5. Will this lens work on my BMPCC 4k??

A: The version of this lens which is B&H#7A25F18BKM43 is indeed for all micro four thirds mount cameras such as the BMPCC 4K. Please note that I'm referring to the version that ends in "M43" as in this case that means micro four thirds.

A: Yes. [Canon EF-M] is it just me or is it a bit hard to put the lens on?

well anyways, for those who are interested, it won't even matter, because this itself is it's own Journey! so much love for this little ray of hope. for me other than the slight difficulty of putting it on the camera it's a dream lens.

[4.1 x 4 x 3.5"] Only had this a few weeks fitted to my Olympus Pen-F Digital but so far I am very happy with this lens especially at this price point.
Initially it was out of stock but came quickly anyway.
Images are very sharp and it feels smooth to use.
In narrow depth of field the bokeh is okay but not dreamy.
I find that close up it focuses very well bordering macro capability.
Some sort of hood would be an advantage as it does catch the sun.

[f/1.8] I bought this 25mm for my first Micro 4/3 camera and I was blown away for the surprising quality I can get from this tiny lens. I highly recommends this lens.

[f/16] While waiting for a mk2 version if the fuji 23mm to come out next year, I decided to try out another brand and landed on the 7artisans 25mm. The look and reviews seemed promising for this lens compared to other similar offerings from other brands. This lens is a great match for the Fujifilm X-Pro3. With the OVF and mini screen pop up you can focus in really well. This 25mm has its own look and style. I really enjoy all its imperfections along with its well designed build quality.

[0.68 lb] This lens does not leave my X-E2s. I love the look and character of the images produced, with fantastic contrast and bokeh. Of Fuji primes, I have shot the XF14mm, 18mm, 27mm and 35mm f2. The 7artisans 25mm ties for favorite with the 35 (53mm equivalent). The corners are not sharp, but I dont take photos to look at corners. Images are incredibly sharp at f8. This lens is so bright that I usually shoot with exposure compensation at -1 2/3. Shooting a manual lens helps my camera battery last for days of shooting. I highly recommend this lens for beautiful images. But if you need to make quick shots, on the move, opt for a lens with auto focus.

[4.1 x 4 x 3.5"] My expectations were low, based on the $70 price point, but I am impressed. The lens feels solid and substantial for its size. The rotation on the focus and aperture rings is smooth and tight (we'll see how that holds up over time, but so far so good). Excellent bokeh, color is beautiful. A little soft on the edges at f/1.8 but sharpens up pretty well at f/2 and up. I do wish that theaperture ring would "click" into place when adjusting, but that's a minor critique of an otherwise great lens. I shoot an X-T2, and this lens will probably be my new "everyday carry" lens.

[f/1.8] I like manual focus lenses, both old school and new. Wide aperture is my sweet spot. Wonderful if you enjoy selective focus and know how to place it. This lens has a good build and is solid. Sharp just as I liked it in my film days. Not sterile like so many newer lenses, this one has character. But you need to know how to focus correctly.

[APS-C] For a sub-$100 lens, the image quality is excellent! I’m a big fan of auto focus, but this lens is very easy to manual focus. Get this for your bag and have fun with it!
