A: This is designed to be used with either a 100mm or 75mm fluid ball head (there's an adapter so the 75mm head will work).

A: no the 503 head is a 75mm ball head and this will require a 100mm ball head.

Q: 4. Anyone ever try this with a Miller 100mm Head ?

A: The Manfrotto 529 Hi Hat with 100mm Bowl should be compatible with a Miller head that has a 100mm bowl mount.

Q: 5. Does this come included with a 100mm half ball leveler?

A: The item comes as shown in the photograph. The 100mm ball leveler would need to come from whatever tripod head you are using it with. It does come in a pretty cool bag as well as a set of extra screw on feet for different surfaces.

Q: 6. Can the legs be inverted so that the bowl mount faces the floor?

A: Not that we are aware of. This system will not work in that way.

Q: 7. Does it work with the Sachtler Aktiv12 fluid head?

A: Yes, the Manfrotto 529 Hi Hat with 100mm Bowl is compatible with the Sachtler aktiv12T Touch & Go Fluid Head with SpeedLevel & 7-Step Drag (100mm).

[0.67 lb] One of my shooters asked for a small tripod for shooting the blooming of flowers. Told her she was nuts and would look for one at NAB. In the mean time just use a sand bag. While at the John Lennon Experience bus at NAB I noticed this small tripod. Perfect for what my shooter wanted. It gets way down almost to ground level and supports a full size ENG camera. Plus the cost fits nicely into my equipment budget. My shooter loves it but now says it is heavy. Told her to hit the gym and do some free weights. 5

[Aluminum] This thing is strong and sturdy yet compact and light weight. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do. Has accessories and everything (except a head) to get you going. Love the bag. Used it in studio and desert. Very agile. Lots of ways to mount and swappable feet. Gets low as your head allows. Highly recommend. 5

[0.67 lb] Ok, so I've been shooting corporate video and reality TV for just over 40yrs and still love'n my job. Over the years I've had many occasions where I needed a Hi-Hat support...rather than buy these fixed metal bolt to plywood units, I just had the wife sew a small durable vinyl pillow to do the job of supporting my camera. Now that shots made with a short 2' slider are common, I needed a real Hi-Hat support. When I discovered this Benro unit I was impressed. It's what I really needed for the past 40yrs. Build quality is true professional (it can support up to 220lbs - I'm 170lbs, stood on it to test and it's solid) and the additional included feet are a real plus. The carry bag is not an afterthought but a really nice bonus-very well made too! ...so from now on this little tool will be on every one of our shoots from this point forward.
