It's enabled a number of difficult shots. I am not acquainted with the Benro products (as such) but I can confirm that this item has worked well for me in the way that I have described.

A: I purchased this riser to be used at our church. It is screwed to the balcony front rail and has a Manfrotto fluid head supporting the Panasonic video camera. It is very well made, light yet sturdy and stable for our needs. I would think this mounted to a sturdy/beefy photo tripod and a fluid head will work quite well.
