Q: 3. Will this work straight out of the box with the Benro BV6 head? I keep seeing people mention adapters and I don't know why.

Q: 4. Which one to get 75mm or 100mm hi hat? I know the difference in size and weight but which would be better for still photography? Thanx.

A: Better depends on what you are doing. Most likely the smaller 75mm will be more than adequate for still photography. 100mm is better for cameras that are larger than most any still camera being used today.

Q: 5. I already have one of these but I am going to purchase a fluid head (100mm ball). Is there an adapter to step down the 100mm ball for the 75mm bowl, or should I just buy another hi hat with a 100mm bowl?

A: Yes, the following can be adapted please look into the following item Benro BA1075 100mm to 75mm Bowl Adapter Ring https://bhpho.to/2VxlA5R

A: Yes, The Benro 75mm Hi-Hat will work. But only with Sachtler Aktiv head models that support 75mm bowls.

Q: 8. Does this work with ANY 75mm ball head or only Benro products?

A: I would think it will work with any 75mm. It works with my Sachtler 75mm.

Q: 9. Hi all. I can't tell from the photos but does this come with a 3/8" stud on a platform so I can mount a ball head on it? Or will I need to buy a half ball leveling adapter to get the stud? Thank you.

A: A 3/8"-16 Low-Profile Tie-Down Adapter is defined as being included, but to properly mount any devices and achieve proper leveling, we recommend a half ball leveling adapter.

Q: 10. Hi, Does it be able work with the Sachtler FSB 8?

A: The Sachtler FSB 8 has a 75mm Ball, making it compatible with the Benro 75mm Hi-Hat.

[8.75 x 6 x 1.2"] I've owned a Benro BV8 tripod for several years and wanted to own a pair of 75mm Baby Legs. I've used a lot of other options, Sachtler and such. And I have to say these ones are superior.

The build quality is amazing, you can get the camera so low in comparison with other baby legs. They come with different feet options for dirt and uneven surfaces as well as a small
short Tie-Down thread to hold the tripod head. Since the one on the Bv8 is super long.

The only regret I have is maybe I should've bought the 100mm version for the future if a expand to bigger Tripod Heads.

[75 mm bowl] I've been using it to set cameras in places that would be impossible with regular tripods. Very reliable.

[0.35 lb] I'm about a few weeks in owning this, and I love it. Not one for buying brands that arnt top in my list, but benro definitely surprised me with the build quality and the ergonomics. Lots of value in this considering you'll be paying a hefty price for a good quality baby tripod/hi-hat contraption. It's sturdy and the feet have a rubber grip that makes me slap my mama. It's great for table top shooting or when you need stability on the floor.

[Aluminum] I like to film/photograph wildlife from extremely low angles, but could never get my other tripods as low as I wanted. So I bought this, a cheap version of other short tripods that 3x and 4x the cost, and adjusted my expectations accordingly, but this stout tripod is incredibly well made and I have no doubt it will withstand decades of outdoor use. Was pleasantly surprised to discover it came with three different kinds of feet, an extra bottom nut, and a tough zippered bag.
