I never thought about it and couldn't find examples, so I played with a DOF simulator using the X1D vs 5DmkIII since I think it represents a standard full frame, and I found:This 45mm at f3.5 on a medium format camera gives the same DOF as a 35mm at 2.5 on a full frame camera (based on my research). So I guess it's not like a 1.2, but I have used it a lot and I can tell you, it's a stunning lens, you won't find people asking if you can get a shallower DOF, they will just remark on how amazing the photos look. The 90mm 3.2 is also an amazing lens.
