[Scroll Wheel] Nothing to complain about. It's large and fills your hand. It's light. It's also pricey and wired. I always use two mice so I own the RH version that is wireless. I wish this was available as a wireless mouse. Vertical mousing seems to have removed some strain from my fingers but I don't feel it's reduced strain or on wrists or shoulders.

[Optical] Totally different than a traditional mouse but by Day 3 using it I am really loving it. I have days where I spend 12 hours at a computer and was having repetitive stress pains in my index finger from clicking the mouse button. After only two days using this my finger already feels better. Well worth the price, the device is extremely well engineered and works so smooth. I can't believe how many years I used the $$mouse that comes with a computer.

[Optical] This is the second Evoluent mouse I have owned. They are the most comfortable truly ergonomic mouse on the market. I have tried several. As an architect I use a lot of design softwares that require a high level of mouse control, not unlike gaming. This mouse saved me from Carpal Tunnel syndrome after a string of long deadlines. It's expensive, but just as worth it as a truly comfortable desk chair. I highly recommend this for daily use.

[1x AA] I use the Evoluent for my main computer. It is a large mouse and it does take some getting use to. It has three main buttons under the fingers, two buttons next to the thumb and the wheel button. All are programable with the downloadable software from the Evoluent site. The buttons are a little light but once you get used to them it works very well. I liked it so much I purchased one for my wife. Both are on computers that run Win 7 pro, no problems yet. I have been using the mice for 3 weeks.
