As its name implies, a UV filter protects the camera's components by filtering out damaging ultraviolet light. It also adds a physical layer of protection for your gimbal's camera lens.

The CPL, or circular polarizer filter, is mainly designed to reduce scattered light and the appearance of reflections in your images. It can also enhance color and increase the contrast of your footage.

These filters are a hybrid of an ND and PL filter and designed to provide the best of both worlds. They reduce light from hitting the sensor, minimize glare and reflections, and increase in contrast in your final footage.

ND4/PL: Reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 2 stops. Ideal for shooting at dusk or dawn, as well as on cloudy days.
ND8/PL: Reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 3 stops. Ideal for shooting in partly cloudy conditions where the sun only occasionally shines through the clouds.
ND16/PL: Reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 4 stops. Ideal for shooting in bright and sunny conditions.

A: The strength of the DJI ND Filter Kit for Mavic 3 Pro/Pro Cine is even across the wide angle and 3x zoom lenses; however, the 7x telephoto lens has a little less light reduction in order to ensure all three cameras remain evenly exposed. The manufacturer doesn't specify exactly how much the telephoto lens differs from the others.

[0.125 lb] Love the fact that with only two filters you are covered from no filter up to ND512 between them. Changing between the ND range is as simple as moving the dail instead of swapping a filter each time. The camera on the Air 2 is sensitive as it is. 5

[0.125 lb] This ND filter fits perfectly on my Mavic Air 2. My previous attempt at VND was a Polar Pro that would not attach to the camera, and I tried two different ones. So the Freewell is a keeper. I love the way I can easily change the amount of light to the camera and get back into the air. B&H had a great price too! 5

[0.125 lb] I use this set on my Mavic 3 Enterprise drone and like the fact that these filters are made from glass, and have no unusual color cast. The Natural Polarizer works well and appears to be the same NiSi polarizer glass used on the NiSi Natural Polarizer made for the Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens. This set will vignette in the corners on the 24mm Mavic Wide lens. The good news is that any vignetting is automatically removed in post by Lightroom. I shoot using .dng and .jpg so this is a non-issue for me. It may be an issue if you only capture images using the .jpg container. 5
