    Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it a good idea to unplug the UPS and let the battery do its thing every few months?

A: UPS uses lead acit batteries, AGM type. Discharging them unnecessarily is of no benefit to their longevity. Keeping them charged is a benefit.

Q: 2. Does this software work with Mac computers?

A: Hi David,Reiko and Robert are both right and our software is compatible with Mac computers.

Q: 3. If my PC has a 1200 watt Power supply will this be strong enough at 900 watts? Is this a pass through design?

A: The 900 watt rating is how many watts it will deliver when on battery. It's rated at 1500 watts pass-through when on line power. Even though your computer has a 1200 watt power supply, it more than likely never pulls that much. Most modern computers only draw 100-200 watts when idle or doing light tasks like email/web browsing. If you have 2-3 high-end power hungry video cards, are doing rendering or video processing, with a pile of hard drives, you could start getting up to the 900 watt limit. Buy a kill-a-watt and measure for sure. Also note that at 100% utilization on battery (drawing 900 watts) the run time is very short; maybe a minute or two. My workstation has an 850 watt power supply, a single GeForce 960 video card, i7-6700k, 16gb ram, 4 hdds and an ssd. With the router, a switch, and 2 monitors, I draw 350 watts when playing games & working on video encoding. I get approx. 15 minutes runtime. Idle it uses 75-100 watts, and a 30 min run time.

Q: 4. will this work with my bx1000g?

    A: No, you would need B&H# APCRBC123.

Q: 5. Does it work with 220-240 volt plug ?

    A: This is for 88 - 140v input only.

Q: 6. Can this software be installed on macOS Catalina? I am getting errors that it can't be checked by Apple.

A: Hold the Control key down when installing the .dmg file. That will display an "open" icon.

Q: 7. can you power an Aputure 300x LED light with this?

A: Yes, the CyberPower BL1450U Battery Back-UPS can provide enough power for the Aputure 300x.

Q: 8. Does it include with network card?

A: The CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFCR does not come with a network card it requires an optional RM card, the optional RMCARD will provide remote monitoring and management over a network.

Q: 9. Is this IMac compatible? It only mentions Windows in the description. thanks

A: Hello Patti, Yes, the unit as well as the accompanying software is compatible with Mac OS. Thank you for submitting your question!

Q: 10. IS this compatable with Windows 10?

A: Yes, the CyberPower CP550SLG Standby UPS and it's accompanying PowerPanel software can be used with Windows 10 computers.

[ (96 VaH)] Been trying to locate this UPS replacement battery pack for my CyberPower CP1350PFCLCD UPS without much success last few months. B&H came through and was able to acquire stock after a few weeks on waiting list. Price was same as OEM without any markup. Fit perfectly.

[12 x 12 x 9.75"] B&H had a battery for my Cyber Power UPS, at a good price, and free shipping. Fit perfect, fixed my dead battery situation, I am a happy camper.

[0 to 90%] OEM battery fit great and was significantly less expensive than ordering through CyberPower.

[12 x 12 x 9.75"] B&H is an authorized seller of CyberPower products which is great to know since there are so many knock-offs out there. Better yet, B&H has stock where other retailers are backordered or simply out of stock. With the official battery cartridges, swapping the battery in my UPS was just a simple matter of disconnecting just one set of cords. Other UPS required separate connections for each battery installed. This just was simple enough that anyone could replace the batteries themselves.

[Lead-Acid] I wish all products were designed as well as CyberPower UPSs. Replacement was easier than I had imagined. Remove one small screw below the front panel, pop off the front panel, unplug the cable, slide out the old battery... Reverse the process with the new battery... It took all of 3 minutes.

[12 lb] They're replacement batteries for a UPS, so there's not too much to say. You plug them in and that's it. They're heavy, so don't drop them on your feet :).

As a side node, the UPS I'm using them in, the CyberPower 1350PFCLCD has no obvious way of showing the status of the batteries (current charge or goodness of the batteries compared to when they're new), but that's not the fault of these batteries themselves.
