The BEM-2-H BrightEye Mitto HD Scan Converter HDCP Supportis a scan converter from BEM-2-H BrightEye Mitto HD Scan Converter HDCP Supportthat converts DVI video input into HD/SD formats, while also allowing the user to select which part of the screen to output. VGA and HDMI input are also supported, but require the use of additional adapters; this unit comes with two VGA to DVI adapters. Analog audio input is supported via a 3.5mm socket, and audio output can be embedded onto the SDI outputs.

The BEM-2-H in conjunction with the included BrightEye Software for Mac and Windows allows computer video to be used for the most demanding applications including broadcast, high-end military, medical, classroom, church, and corporate events. Even a small part of the screen, such as a Skype window, can be selected with a mouse and converted to full-screen HD. Resize the selection window by clicking and dragging with your mouse. From your desktop, you have intuitive control over video and audio parameters. The BEM-2-H provides the functionality and control to operate as a router or switcher.

A: No. As Brian C. mentioned there is a 1080PsF@29.97 or 1080p@29.97 but not 1080i. The progressive segmented frame (PsF) is ideal when converting interlaced to progressive I think...

A: The delay can be up to 2 frames based upon conversion type. Audio will be maintained.

[0 to 95%] Used to record to tape (DVcam Pal) the VGA sent to a videoprojector during a presentation (1024x768). Worked perfectly at the first time (take a good vga wire). Ad sent very quickly by B&H to France 5

[Analog] I used this unit to convert the s-video output of a teleconference unit to VGA. Picture quality was excellent, no perceivable artifacts in the upconversion of the video. If I had only one gripe it would be the selector button that selects the input from either baseband video or s-video. (not worth losing a star over) Since it is a push button that toggles between the two it can be inadvertently hit and you of course would loose picture. 5

[Analog] I used this product to use a SlingBox ProHD as a second "monitor" on my HTPC. Prior to using this device, the HDCP would generate an error in Windows Media Center as it believed that I was splitting the content into 2 (which, technically I was). 5
