[1x DVI-D Male] It worked to make the second monitor come alive off a new iMac which has USB-C (to older DVI adapter connected to an old H-P monitor. However, don't expect B&H's 'free shipping option to get an order delivered very fast. Waited almost 8 days for delivery although I am only 30 miles from their NJ warehouse. 5

[1x USB-C Male] Ordered cable and arrived 2 days later. Was somewhat anxious about DVI-D cable working with USB-C. Worked immediately without any problem. If you want screen to work with closed Macbook Pro, Macbook needs to be powered by charger connected to AC wall outlet. Mine worked on battery with Macbook Pro open. Fully satisfied. 5
