A: Windows isn't required. This is still just a keyboard but on the keyboard are commonly used shortcuts to improve your workflow. It should still work Linux.

[Scissor] If you're debating this keyboard, I recommend it. Here are some minor benefits I've enjoyed: - Backlit keys when color grading in a dark room - Sturdy and doesn't slide on the desk - Bluetooth and wired work seamlessly The surprise benefit is that this keyboard works in Bluetooth mode to enter my password after a complete shutdown and power-up. None of the other non-Apple Bluetooth keyboards I own will do this. They work after a RESTART but not on POWER-UP. I was very impressed that they got this right. NOTE: The following was true when I wrote this review on September 5, 2024. This might sound very nitpicky, but the insert card that came with a keyboard directed me to the following website: Logickeyboard.com/shortcut There is no guide for FCPX. I emailed to inquire about this and was sent a link to the Apple website containing the 900+ page user manual. The shortcut guide is more of a nice to have, but I thought I would call it out anyway. 5

[2.45 lb] The only way to travel through Pro Tools.� Sure, you'll memorize the shortcuts you use most often, but it's nice to have a reminder of the less used shortcuts, and to have them all color-coded. Rugged, solid construction. 5

[Windows] My first was the LogicKB 14, used it to death. This unit with its update DRS17 rocks, feels responsive and tight. Really a must for a Blackmagic user! 5

[USB-A ] Yeah I am just like you - never spent much on a keyboard but got by fine ... but if you look at your keyboard now - missing keys, faded, hair, crumbs, dust - you name it all caught up in those cracks. I finally did not cut this corner, blame it on the late night purchase but pulled the trigger. For 3 days I was like did I just spend 140.00 on a keyboard!? However, arrived and open and This keyboard is a Ferrari - awesome! heavy, backlit, easy to control and helps me edit like a dream, its just quality and the keys feel great, yeah it is not cheap but we spend all our money on hardware and this you can actually feel and touch this and you will appreciate. signed Production Dude. 5

[2.45 lb] Loving Lightroom. There's a lot to discover and it takes time but there are tons of great tools and worth the cost for me at this point. 5
