Using an eye-safe Class 1 laser, the LiteWave takes the angle to the target into account, so you'll know how the true distance of uphill and downhill shots. It measures inclines and declines up to 90°, and can be used to measure the height of objects as well as distance. Display Mode 1 displays actual distance and degree of angle. Mode 2 displays actual distance, degree of angle, horizontal distance, and the difference between horizontal and actual distances. Mode 3 is a scan mode showing all the data from Mode 2 while moving the reticle.

Featuring fully multi-coated lenses for optimal light transmission, this rangefinder is equipped with a tripod mount and comes with a CR2 battery, a strap, and a case.

Q: 4. With the laser range finder does it compute a new endpoint and projected on the reticle based on the ballistic information?

Q: 5. Does this come with lens caps?

A: There is NOT a lens cap, and the design is such that it would probably be difficult to have one. It does come with a padded case with a belt loop and a very secure closure.

Q: 6. Considering the 8x42 configuration and price, does this binocular share the same optics as the NL Pure?

Q: 9. How to know year of production of binox4k

A: These always sell out, so they are a current year manufacture.

Q: 10. Can the FD1 be used on a RIFLE without an optical scope and it will give me new aimpoint if I enter ballistic info?

A: The PARD FD1-850 Clip-On Digital Night Vision Riflescope with Laser Rangefinder (850nm, 30Hz) can be use without an optical scope but you will need to buy the cantilever mount, https://bhpho.to/3vCrQeB. Yes, the point of impact would be different and you would have to adjust for the change.

[0.615 lb] This Nikon Laser 50 is better than the 4K Black. I now have both, and did an AB test on them.

They range exactly the same, at about 3700 yards each(best case) and about 1900 on trees.

The main difference is the L50 has a Magnesium case, and will display angle or compensated yardage in the display.

The Laser 50 also comes with a 5 year warranty.

I'm not sure why Nikon called it a 50, and not a 4K Black mark II, but this performs exactly the same as the old 4k Black.

[24 mm] I finally received the product and tried it out. The stabilizer is excellent and very user-friendly. I’m glad I bought it.

[12 mm] Got this one to replace a misplaced 2000B for a hunt. Quick shipping at the lowest price online.

Nothing more to say Leica range finders are the best.

[24 mm] Best rangefinder for hunting. Works great and fast with great glass. Don’t wast your money on other cheaper rangefinder’s. Get a Leica.

[6x] My 15-year-old Nikon rangefinder couldn't lock onto the flag unless it was blowing in the wind, which was frustrating. The 50i solved this issue, plus it indicates the ball-path yardage based on elevation change.

[1x CR2] I purchased these for hunting and have used them for about one week glassing mule deer and pronghorn is the wide open spaces of Wyoming. The glass is shockingly crisp and bright with zero edge distortion or chromatic aberration and is exceptionally bright in low light. The electronics are quick and responsive. The controls are very intuitive and tactile. I compared these side by side with the Leica Geovids and Swaro EL Range and I could not tell a difference in glass quality. The electronics in the Swaro are worse but the electronics in the Geovids were superior (although I don't need a ballistic calculator in my optics). One thing to note is that the binos DO CALCULATE TRUE HORIZONTAL RANGE. Why that isn't advertised is beyond me. All in all if someone gifted me $4k to spend on binos I'd buy these again...and then spend the other $2500 or so on something else.

[0.615 lb] very easy to use. Locks on target quickly and easily. Battery usage much better than expected. Used 5 rounds and battery still shows full charge. Very clear picture. works well with unsteady hands. Only drawback is no magnet mount for cart.

[24 mm] I've owned some of the most popular rangefinders and used most of the rest at one time or another while playing golf with others. As a longtime Canon user, I was happy they jumped into this category with their optics and technology.
As a rangefinder:
+ Locks onto pin with prism immediately. -Faster than all the rest I've ever used, it's actually quite surprising how fast it locks on.
+ Unit vibrates when lock is established.
+ Numbers are crisp and easy to see in viewfinder. Integrated diopter adjustment for those who need it like me.
+ Unit is small, lightweight and fits in back pocket - I mostly walk while playing and wanted a small form factor. Always wondered why most of them are not smaller. Not an issue in my hand to hold steady while taking readings with image stabilization.
+ Rechargeable battery via USB C (no more searching for CR2s). Battery charge icon is lit in viewfinder each time unit is utilized.
+ Zoom function is handy to located far targets and even help identify golf balls- was on the tee side of a creek and wasn't sure whose ball carried the hazard. Used the zoom function to identify the ball from 20 yards away.
+Canon menu is simple to navigate and set the unit/change and modify.
+ Camera is an added bonus; I did not purchase it for that function but have used it and works to my expectations with a small handheld device. Same with the video.
- Only option that some will miss is the internal magnet that other brands have to enable the unit to be put on the support bar of a golf car and help you forget your rangefinder after golf.
