The Linhof 50mm Quick Release Plateis an Arca-type compatible dovetail plate with a 1/4"-20 threaded camera mount. The plate also works with the Linhof 3D Leveling Head II and the 3D Micro Leveling head.

Q: 1. I have a MeFoto Globetrotter with 60mm plate. Would the 70mm plate or the 50mm plate work better? I assume the short one would fit but not take advantage of the extra width - where the 70mm might give extra grip on the camera that would extend beyond the plate mount.

Q: 2. Will this work with a Sirui monopod with L-10 Arca type Swiss head? I want to use it with my BlackRapid sling

A: The BlackRapid Tripod Plate 50 Quick Release Plate (50mm) is compatible with most Arca-style quick-release clamps.

A: The BlackRapid Tripod Plate 50 Quick-Release Plate is Arca-Type Compatible, as is the Gitzo GH1382TQD ball head, so they should work together. However, you may have to remove the screw stops in the bottom of the Quick-Release Plate. I use my BlackRapid Quick-Release Plate on a Manfrotto MH054M0-Q2 ball head that I retrofit with a Manfrotto Q6 Top Lock Quick Release Adapter for Arca-Type base plates. I had to remove the safety stop screws in the BlackRapid Plate. The Manfrotto head has a built-in spring-loaded pin that serves as a safety stop, so I did not need the stops in the Quick-Release Plate in my case. I don't know about how the Gitzo head will handle the safety stop issue.

Q: 4. Would P-20 fit on the tripod collar foot Nikon 180-600 lens ?

Q: 5. Will this plate fit on a Sachtler FSB8-t fluid head?

A: To be honest, i never have FSB8-T, but i use my Wimberley P30 and P40 on my Wimberley Gimbal work perfectly and also on my Acratech ball head. I beleive as long as your head use arca swiss type of quick release, i think will fit thanks

Q: 6. Is BR 50 Plate compatible with the Benro 1B1 arca-type ball head?

A: Unfortunately we cannot 100% confirm that it'll work, but agree with everyone above that it shouldn't be an issue given that our plates are arca swiss compatible overall.

Q: 7. When the QR plate is installed on this adapter, is the camera screw aligned over the center of the adapter base? I need to know if I will be able to use this with my matte box on my 15LWS standard shoulder rig.

A: Hi Edward. yes!. I use aligned on center the base plate end the camera.

Q: 8. I have a Induro BHD0 Ballhead. Which size plate works for it? the 50 or the 70?

A: I agree that they both will work and one is just longer than the other. If you are using a big lens where the lens will mount on the ballhead instead of the camera then get the longer one.

Q: 9. Is there a quick release camera balance plate the attaches to a slk pro 72 tripod head?

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] I bought this to use with my Gitzo tripod, but it didn't fit I wasn't able to use the Black Rapid strap with the old one and had hoped this would work. I was in NYC and stopped in at B&H to return it. Instead the salesman ended up putting on a Arca_Swiss mount which I can now use with varies plates including this one. Saved me from buying a new head and can now use the Black Rapid strap. Thanks B&H for the great customer service. 5

[0.165 lb] This unit lets me fit the camera on my tripod (which I rarely do) but also lets me attach my aftermarket strap to both of my cameras. 5

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] This is my 3rd one of various sizes. I bought the longer one for macro. They work well on my gimbal head. They have stops so they don't slide off. The ring is solid enough I use it with my back rapid strep for hiking. 5
