Protect your camera and lens with the Hydrophobia D 24-70 V3.0 Rain Cover from Think Tank. This cover has a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating and is made from three layers of material for durability. It is also seam-sealed for added protection against rain, sleet, snow, sand, and dust. Fold it down to fit into the included compact carrying pouch and slip it into your camera bag so you're prepared in a downpour or sand storm.

This cover will fit over a DSLR camera with a 24-70mm f/2.8 or similarly-sized lens attached. It has a non-slip, adjustable strap that cinches to the lens hood so it stays put once in place. It can be used while shooting atop a tripod or monopod and has an oversized window for viewing your LCD and controls. Additionally, two cinchable sleeves provide easy access to your camera functions.

An eyepiece flap folds into a visor or shields the viewfinder from rain or dust when not in use. An eyepiece pocket is built into the bottom of the cover and the separately available eyepiece allows full access to your viewfinder while protecting your camera.

The integrated shoulder strap lets you wear the camera on your shoulder with the cover attached. It can be replaced with your favorite strap if desired.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can this size be used with a 24 - 70mm lens?

A: It will work but will be a bit baggy but usable.

Q: 2. Would this size fit a NikonD500 with a 60-600mm sigma sports lens?

A: Yes, the Think Tank Photo Hydrophobia DM 300-600 V3.0 Rain Cover is large enough to fit the D500 with the Sigma 60-600 attached.

Q: 3. Will this model fit on a Nikon Z9 with the 24-120mm f/4 lens attached?

A: Yes, will make a great cover for you camera and lens combo.

Q: 4. For people who have used this, do you think this could work with a Nikon 85mm f/1.4 on a D850 since it's on the cusp of 24-70?

A: Yes, it will work.

Q: 5. I have the Canon R6. The eyepiece is not removable so will the Think Tank eyepiece work?

A: The optional Hydrophobia eyepieces will not work/attach the right way since the Canon R6 eyepiece isn't removable, but the rain cover can technically still be used without it.

Q: 6. Would the medium or large be better for a Sony a7R IVa with a Sony 24-105mm lens?

A: The Think Tank Photo Emergency Rain Cover (Medium) would be the best size for the A7R IV and the 24-105mm lens.

Q: 7. Are there any suggestions for an eye piece that can be used with this cover and a Canon R5? I don't see one listed.

A: Unfortunately, the Think Tank Photo Hydrophobia D 70-200 V3.0 Rain Cover does not have a compatible eye piece for the Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 8. I'm guessing that the DSLR/70-200 version would be better for a Nikon Z9 plus 70-200/2.8S than the mirrorless version. (which seems to be for a smaller camera). Am I correct?

A: Sine the Nikon Z9 Mirrorless Camera is a large camera the Think Tank Photo Hydrophobia D 70-200 V3.0 Rain Cover will work the best.

Q: 9. How would the fit be for a Canon R6II? How would the eye piece align with the EVF?

A: Unfortunately the R6 Mark II eyepiece is not user replaceable so Think Tank Photo Hydrophobia D 70-200 V3.0 Rain Cover would not be a good option. I would recommend getting this Think Tank Photo Emergency Rain Cover (Medium) that does not require the eyepiece to be changed. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1431015-REG/think_tank_photo_740619_emergency_rain_cover_medium.html

Q: 10. Will this work with the Canon R3 with a RF 100-300 2.8?

A: Yes, the Think Tank Photo Hydrophobia DM 300-600 V3.0 Rain Cover will cover the Canon EOS R3 with the Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens.

[0.9 lb] The Think Tank Photo Hydrophobia D 70-200 V3.0 Rain Cover is designed for thorough protection of your camera and lens in the heaviest of rain. The camera/lens is completely covered when needed (along with your hands) yet can be easily accessed and operated. With the R5, the stock viewfinder will fit in the hole for the custom eyecup. This is good as no custom eyecup is available. The cover cinches down on the lens hood very securely and does not slip (this is not true in other brands of rain protection).

The zipper on the bottom is setup so the opening can be closed around the lens foot or camera plate by zipping each end of the zipper toward the attachment plate.

The cover is bulkier than their emergency cover (which is a good cover also but not as robust).

The only thing that would make it better is if it covered the photographer also.

[Yes] I purchased a few bad weather protection covers for my Nikon D850 using numerous Nikon lens. After receiving them all from B&H and trying them for ease of application and how well they protect, fit and how well I can operate my camera while the cover is on. I came to the conclusion that the TinkTank Hydrophobia Cover was the best by far. Note that I purchased all 3 available sizes and they now are in my F-Stop camera bag full time depending what lens I’m going on the shoot with. These bags aren’t cheap but their well made, fit very well and I can operate my camera without a problem when the cover is attached. What else can I say.

[Yes] Use is either hand-held on with a tripod and still have full access to all controls and screens.

[0.9 lb] Just got this for my Nikon D750 with 24-300mm lens and it works great! Everything kept 100% dry in a rainstorm on an outing I just came back from. It's kind of funky to get your camera secured inside the cover, so best to practice a few times at home. Once you do it a few times, easy to secure. Highly recommend!

[Yes] I love these cases. I used mine to photograph on the moving boat, and my camera stayed completely dry. (Don't forget to order the eyepiece!)
