Protect your camera and lens with the Hydrophobia DM 300-600 V3.0 Rain Cover from Think Tank. This cover has a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating and is made from three layers of material for durability. It is also seam-sealed for added protection against rain, sleet, snow, sand, and dust. Fold it down to fit into the included compact carrying pouch and slip it into your camera bag so you're prepared in a downpour or sand storm.

This cover will fit over a DSLR or mirrorless full-frame camera with a 300mm f/2.8-600mm f/4 or similarly-sized lens attached. It has a non-slip, adjustable strap that cinches to the lens hood so it stays put once in place. It can be used while shooting atop a tripod or monopod and has an oversized window for viewing your LCD and controls. Additionally, two cinchable sleeves provide easy access to your camera functions.

An eyepiece flap folds into a visor or shields the viewfinder from rain or dust when not in use. An eyepiece pocket is built into the bottom of the cover and the separately available eyepiece allows full access to your viewfinder while protecting your camera.

[Yes] This rain cover revealed itself as the go to rain cover for myself and all of the photographers around me that one Friday evening under the lights, and under the torrential downpour. Others were packing up their equipment before the end of the first quarter while I giggled and offered my medium version to a friend... he was ecstatic and ended up buying both the medium and the large. Our lenses were protected and dry as a bone when we disassembled the kit at the end of the game. I should not have to say any more. Think Tank knows rain! They get how it can destroy thousands of dollars of equipment in 10 minutes. They value our investments and it shows.

[Black] If you need protection for SERIOUS rain condition, this is the best protection you can buy. Extremely well made and will last for years. I just bought a second one for my secondary camera body and lens.

[1.22 lb] I purchased a few bad weather protection covers for my Nikon D850 using numerous Nikon lens. After receiving them all from B&H and trying them for ease of application and how well they protect, fit and how well I can operate my camera while the cover is on. I came to the conclusion that the TinkTank Hydrophobia Cover was the best by far. Note that I purchased all 3 available sizes and they now are in my F-Stop camera bag full time depending what lens I’m going on the shoot with. These bags aren’t cheap but their well made, fit very well and I can operate my camera without a problem when the cover is attached. What else can I say.

[1.22 lb] This worked great with a Canon RF 600 f4 lens. The velcro around the hood slipped just a little, but I think I could have made it a little tighter. Overall, I'm happy with it.

[Yes] Great quality and easy to use with the arm holes. Better than any of the others I’ve tried over the years.

[Black] There are lots of rain cover options. This has the most features and is the most durable. That's why I've finally spent the money for the best one.

Excellent features. Do not forget to purchase the correct eye piece for your camera.

Practice putting it on at home and in the field take the time to put it on your camera before you need it.

Feature rich. One puzzle is that even though it's specifically for the 70-200 (I have Canon) the cover seems longer than needed. Also, with the carry strap installed the strap compresses the are over the shutter button. It's not really a problem, just takes some getting used to.

Great product. Not the cheapest...

[1.22 lb] Use is either hand-held on with a tripod and still have full access to all controls and screens.

[Yes] The Think Tank Photo Hydrophobia D 70-200 V3.0 Rain Cover is designed for thorough protection of your camera and lens in the heaviest of rain. The camera/lens is completely covered when needed (along with your hands) yet can be easily accessed and operated. With the R5, the stock viewfinder will fit in the hole for the custom eyecup. This is good as no custom eyecup is available. The cover cinches down on the lens hood very securely and does not slip (this is not true in other brands of rain protection).

The zipper on the bottom is setup so the opening can be closed around the lens foot or camera plate by zipping each end of the zipper toward the attachment plate.

The cover is bulkier than their emergency cover (which is a good cover also but not as robust).

The only thing that would make it better is if it covered the photographer also.

[Black] It fits my biggest lens a Sigma 120-300/2.8 on both my Nikon Z8 and D810. With the 2X TC and hood attached there is still over 8 inches of extra length.

I have not had a chance to use it in foul weather yet, but I have plenty or room for my hands underneath the cover to reach all the camera buttons and knobs. The bottom zipper is on no use for me because that lens is more than I can handhold and would always be on a tripod or monopod which prevent closing the zipper. There convenient clips to close the bottom opening around the the tripod foot of the lens.
