Designed for data centers and other electrically demanding applications, the CyberPower PDU20MT2F10R 12-Outlet Metered PDUfrom CyberPower PDU20MT2F10R 12-Outlet Metered PDUprovides an output of 100-125V at 20A (derated to 16A). It distributes that power to 12 NEMA 5-20R outlets (2 front, 10 rear) from a single 15' NEMA L5-20P plug with unfiltered electrical passthrough. The PDU20MT2F10R has a rugged, industrial-grade metal housing and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. It is ETL/RoHS certified and includes a cord retention tray, a screw kit, a cord clip kit, horizontal mounting brackets, and vertical mounting brackets. Protection is provided by a limited lifetime warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions.

A: The 4 Outlets in the cenet are fixed. The other 4 outlets on each side rotate 90 degrees max. The 8 outside outlets can be positioned from straght up to 90 degrees straight out and still provide prwer in any position.

Q: 5. Is the plug that goes in the outlet flat? Need to make sure it's not bulky and will take up space between the wall and the furniture

A: Yes.. It also has 8 90 degree rotating receptacles & 4 stationary receptacles. Lights up to let you know it is grounded & protected. Built in strap to bundle cables. Surge protection is rated better than most. Well worth the cost & B&H is a great company to do business with. A: Belkin and others rate surge protectors in Joules. Any sudden surge or short circuit will will break the connection in nano seconds. Surge Energy Rating = 3996 Joules

[20 A] Sometimes you don’t need a big, elaborate PDU for small rack applications. This one is ideal if you don’t require many outputs (this one has [8] NEMA 5-15R connectors), but you still want to know (remotely) if all of your loads are powered up and are functioning properly. A NEMA 5-15P input connector makes everything simple to install. This is a nice PDU for simple applications! 5

[Yes] The typical number of outlets on these things is 8, which really is limiting for me. 10 is better but still leaves me needing a power strip. With 12 on the ST900U I don't need any auxiliary Mickey Mouse additions adding to the rat's nest of wiring! 5
