Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can it be used with 10-18mm or a 18-135mm 67mm lens on a canon 7d?

A: The LEE Filters Seven5 Deluxe Kit is designed for use on compact interchangeable lens cameras, such as mirrorless cameras. However, as the LEE Filters Seven5 system has filter rings for lenses between 37mm-72mm (along with a few custom rings for certain mirrorless digital cameras), you may purchase the correct adapter ring for use on your lenses. If you are referring to the Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens and the Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens (which has a 67mm filter thread), the LEE Filters 67mm Seven5 Adapter Ring, B&H # LEARS567, would be the correct adapter ring for your stated needs.

Q: 2. Does it comes in pairs?

A: Correct. This is a pair of replacement fasteners.

Q: 3. I just purchased a Fuji XT-2 from B&H. Should I go with the 100mm or the Seven5 system. I shoot mostly landscapes. Will I get vignetting using a wide angle lens if I stack a little stopper and a polarizer?

A: I am using the Seven5 system with the Fuji x100t, but that has a fixed 23mm lens. The xt2 can accommodate many different lenses, but the Seven5 should be fine. The 100mm system would be more suitable for wide angle and and ultra wides on a full frame dslr. Check with Lee directly for more details, their customer service is excellent.

Q: 4. How is this installed?

A: You can use gaff tape https://bhpho.to/3353R3h.

Q: 5. will it fit my 82 mm lens?

A: It fits the 150x150 mm bracket. I use it on my Nikon 14-24 lens with a special multi-piece holder that screws around the lens. It works great and the filters are not light leak proof without it. I do not think this shield works with a normal filter holder that screws to the front of a lens because it is designed to fill the gap caused by the 14-24 lens fixed front shield.

Q: 6. Do the Lee Seven5 filters have a different degree of hard and graduated transition from the full size Lee filters? Or, is it just the physical size of the Seven5's that is different? The reason I'm asking is that I have the full Lee kit in 100mm filters that I use with my Fuji system. It works fine. Is there any advantage/difference other than physical size?

A: I use the 100mm and Seven5 Lee grads, on full-frame DSLR and compact Four-Thirds cameras respectively. Comparing the 100mm and Seven5 grads side by side, I see that the Seven5 filters are not just the 100mm grads cut to a different size. Rather, the Seven5 filters are fully scaled down, both the size and the graduation pattern, to be appropriate to the smaller lenses that they'll typically be used on. So, comparing the fade zone in the graduation in the two filters in say 0.6 Soft specification, you see that the Seven5 fade zone is shorter than in the 100mm filters. In this way, presumably you should get a similar graduation effect in your images with both the larger lenses you'll typically be using with the 100mm filters, and the smaller lenses you'll typically be using with the Seven5 filters. This matches with my experience with the two systems.

Q: 7. Is the padding inside the same as what is in the case that comes with the big stopper?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 8. What's the difference between this and SKU 216RW ?

A: 216RW is the standard core size. This one has a smaller 1" core. The filter is the same density and size.

Q: 9. Will this fit a Nikon 24-70 2.8 lens?

A: Yes, it will fit.

Q: 10. Will these fit in the Lee Filters Field Pouch?

A: I'm sorry no, it will just be a bit too large to use in the pouch.

[3 lb] It does what it does.. gaff tape it (neatly) to windows in the background of your shot and it absorbs a couple of stops of light so your outside isn't so much brighter than your inside. Get some today!

[3 lb] A nice large sheet of minus green filter that cleans up the green cast on my Godox AD100 flashes. The sheet is plenty large enough to get many filters out of it if they should fade and need to be replaced

[3 lb] Wow what a difference this makes vs shooting through fabric, reflectors, or soft boxes. What an amazing diffused light this puts off, even with super shiny products. This is a must have for anyone shooting ecommerce, products or high relective surfaces. I wish I would have known and bought this 10 years ago, would have saved me so much time. Absolutely little to no editing for your white images, if exposed properly in camera.
I will be trying the different weights and styles soon!
