The LEE Filters 210 0.6 Neutral Density Filter Rollfrom LEE Filters 210 0.6 Neutral Density Filter Rollis designed to reduce the output of a light fixture by two stops. When applied, no additional coloration or contrast is created. This filter is constructed from polyester that is heat resistant to 356°F and delivered as a 60" x 20' roll on a 1" core.

Under 3200K tungsten light, the 210 0.6 Neutral Density Filter exhibits a 0.61 density and transmits light at 24.5%. Under 6774K Source C light, the filter exhibits a 0.63 density and transmits light at 23.5%.

A: This filter is only a VND, if you want a combo, then the Polarpro ND/CP would be the way to go.

Q: 2. If I'm attaching this to my Canon 24-105mm lens, will this accept it's lens hood?

A: Unfortunately, the hood will not work with the filter.

Q: 3. Can these be used with step-up rings without optical problems?

A: Yes, step up rings will not be a problem with this filter.

Q: 4. Why is it more expensive the kit than buying everything separately?

A: The kit includes a pouch.

Q: 7. do the filter eliminate IR pollution?

A: No, that filter does not reduce IR pollution. It is a Variable Neutral Density filter. The filter only reduces the amount of all light getting through.

A: This is version one.

Q: 9. Does this have IR filtration built in? Because I plan on using it with a BMPCC 6K and don't want IR pollution changing the colors as I step down.

A: The PolarPro 82mm Peter McKinnon Edition Variable Neutral Density filter is made of Quartz Glass. Quartz Glass has excetionally high tramissision of the entire visible spectrum inclding UV and IR. If you need UV filtration use a seperate UV filter.

Q: 10. Does this Variable ND Filter suffer from color cast? How much color correction is needed in post if any? Compared to no ND filter what is the color temperature? Thanks

A: These Polarpro filters are very good and have little or no color cast to speak of.

[2.85 lb] I use all three of these filters constantly. With the polarizer I get great skies and reduced reflections in water. Adding the 2-stop ND filter really helps with motion effects and helps me shoot wide apertures for shallow DOF in bright light. Quality is first rate. 5

[2.85 lb] This is the best ND filter I have purchased. There is absolutely no vignetting on the corners. Also the quality and the way it screws on just feels premium. I recommend getting the 2-5 stop because it’s till does an amazing job in bright daylight for me at 5 stop. The 6-9 is great too but I would only recommend it if you are shooting around snow, water, or a place with a lot of reflections. Thankyou PolarPro and Peter McKinnon for making the best ND filter on the market. 5

[2.85 lb] This definitely does its job! I don't notice any color shift whatsoever, and it fits perfectly into my LEE filter holder! I would also like to get a hard edged graduated ND, but this has lots of uses too! The price definitely makes this filter worth it! 5

[Roll] If you need a variable ND for video work, this one is the one to get. Forget getting cheaper filters in the $50 to $200 range. None operate at full stops advertised - no brand does but this comes close. Also has much cleaner colors and limited banding in skies. 5
