A: I'm sorry but B&H does not carry Progrey filters so i cannot comment but I can say that Lee filters are very good and have been used by professionals for many years. Other quality brands include Nisi, Haida, Formatt and H & Y.

A: Liba Fabrics does not list how much light the Liba Fabrics White Artificial Silk Diffusion Fabric (60" x 5-Yard Roll) absorbs. The average for White Artificial Silk Diffusion is about 1.6 stops of light.

Q: 10. I'm making a large 5'x10' DIY softbox. Is this applicable for that use? How many stops does it decrease the light?

A: This diffuser can work for a make-shift softbox and it will reduce the light by 1.5 stops.

[2.59 lb] What can you say about Lee filters except that they are terrific. We bought this large roll because we're going back to the old school way on some shoots...blowing two big lights at the same time through this filter material for a soft wall of light. Creates really soft, beautiful shadows and makes people look good in interviews. 5
