[0.21x] Once again Sigma has delivered. I owned my previous 70-200 which was used heavily for ten years until I had to put it down. This lens, for its far cheaper price when compared to Nikon is outstanding. I fully expect this to run for ten years too

[Nikon F] I've had a few weeks to put this new toy to work. I saved a few dollars by not purchasing the Nikon version and was hoping the image quality would be ok. I made a great choice, for my type of photography this is a step up, being able to customize settings is a plus via USB dock. Images are sharp. The weight is not an issue, 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses are not featherweight. I would recommend this lens, it does the job and you can purchase additional gear with the money saved.

[Nikon F] I was in need of a good midrange lens and after reading the reviews, and with the price I couldn't pass it up.I really like everything about the lens, it is a little on the heavy side but so what. I'm not a professional I like photography as a hobby for me. I do landscape and wildlife ( birds) mainly. I have no regrets on my purchase, this is my 3rd sigma lens guess that says something.

[82 mm (Front)] Great lens images are sharp as a tack even at 2.8, built like a tank, worth every penny. I use it on my canon 80D.

[Autofocus] This is the sharpest lens in my camera bag, even more so than my 50 1.4 Art. The color rendition is natural and pleasing. The auto focus is blazing fast, especially when you limit the minimum focusing distance. I shot a concert last weekend with a cold and was having trouble seeing if things were sharp through my view finder, but all of my photos were tack sharp when I put them up on my monitor. The lens is heavy, but it’s not unbearable. The build quality is just superb, and it gives me incredible confidence when I’m shooting in rough conditions. I can’t recommend this lens enough, especially at the price point.

[34.3° to 12.3°] Sigma hit another one out of the park. I saw some reviews on how it doesn't focus fast but I have not seen that at all. In low light and good light focus is fast and Tack Sharp at 2.8. I have the Nikon mount paired with D850 and D500 and works super on both bodies. I highly recommend.

[5.72 lb] At this price point I am amazed at how this lens works.  Really, I think it is so close to my Nikon I can see no difference in quality.  And it is sort of weather sealled!  The foot is in fact a bit short.  For the almost thousand dollar difference I will take that.  Auto focus is fast.  It was spot on for focus alignment on the D810 and the D500!  No other lens was centered on both.  That is very good.  Highly Recommended

[f/2.8] I love everything about this lens: The build quality, the sharpness, the focus speed, the stiffness of the zoom and focus rings, and even the locking lens hood.
I originally bought the Tamron G2 because it was available earlier, but I wasnt thrilled with the sharpness, especially at 200mm. I returned it and bought this lens, and I love it, even though its more expensive and much heavier, its worth the trade off.
