Flexibility and extensive control options are key to the production of the Image L40 DMX LED Panel with Yoke Mount from Kino Flo. The 54 x 6.5 x 17" panel employs four menus with several channels that have features that can be controlled on the light via traditional wired DMX or by Lumen Radio wireless DMX. The White menu allows control of 1 to 100% dimming, color control from 2700 to 6500K, and Green/Magenta control. There are two color menus. In the Gels/Hue menu, the Kelvin range is extended to 2500 to 9900K.

Among the channels is one called Gel that offers multiple presets for light conditions, such as mercury-vapor, and 100 often-used gel filters. A channel called Hue Angle (Hue) and another called Saturation (Sat) are also included in the Gel menu and function together like a 360-degree color wheel making over two million color combinations available.

The second color menu provides RGB (Red, Green, Blue) control, permitting a user-selected combination to obtain any color in the visible spectrum. The RGB menu also allows you to dial in specific gel RGB values or control colors from a DMX console. Finally, there's an FX menu that creates effects such as Candle, Fire, TV, Police, Lightning, Paparazzi, Pulse, and Scroll. Within each effect there are presets that vary the parameters or change the rate of the chosen effect.

The Image L40 is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 100 to 240 VAC power supply. The light comes with a 90-degree honeycomb grid to tighten its beam angle and limit spill light, providing directional control for selective lighting. This version of the light has a Yoke Mount. The yoke has a hole to accept industry-standard hardware such as a pin or receiver.

[200 W ] After being tasked with setting up a small in-house video studio, the FreeStyle Air Max was recommended to me. We are now doing a lot of product demo videos and the Air Max was the perfect compliment to the few LED lights that I had. The Freestyle controller is easy to use and the light quality, versatility, and coverage of this light panel is AMAZING. I am using a snap-box diffuser which makes set up quick and painless. [50,000 Hours] Spent quite a bit of time looking at Kino Flo lights and other lights in the class. Hands down this is the best lighting available. Spot on with color accuracy. Color does not shift or vary when the amount of power is reduced. Attention to detail is incredible. This is a 'no joke' light and is intended for the serious film or content creator. 5

[50,000 Hours] There is a reason to spend this much on a light, it does what other lights fail to do well. �Precise color temperature, magenta/green hue adjustment, RGB colors. �Also, there is little to no change in output while making color adjustments. �I find it provides plenty of well-diffused output, and it's great at matching with other lights or lighting situations. 5

[200 W ] I was considering purchasing 1x1 LED lights from another manufacturer, but after months of comparisons, I decided to pay a little more for the LED Diva. I received the light a day earlier than promised from B&H. The build is sturdy, very similar to the original fluorescent Divas. My old Floziers work perfectly, although I may never need them. This light looks very bright yet soft. The menu is easy to navigate, and dialing in the color temperature and brightness level is quick and simple. Love the many built-in gels to match any look that you are used to. You can dial in any RGB color, although I am not sure I will ever use that feature. I can't wait to use this light on an interview shoot, which is mostly what I need it for. My colleague has 2 Kino-Flo Celebs, but he said he likes this light better, and plans to buy a couple for himself. The soft case is basic but well made and suited for local use. I plan to buy another light soon, along with the hard 2-light case for air travel. As long as I get years of worry free use like I did with other Kino-Flo lights, I think they are well worth the price. I have some older fluorescent studio Kinos for sale if anyone needs them :-) 5
