The Gitzo Century Leather Sling Strap for Camerasfrom Gitzo Century Leather Sling Strap for Camerasis made from genuine Italian leather with a carbon fiber textured design and comfortable feel to the strap. The strap attaches to the camera via its standard camera loop, but a ring adapter and leather anti-scratch bumper are provided in case the camera has a small strap lug. On the other end of the strap, it includes the GS5370SDR quick release plate, which is Arca-type compatible, and it connects to the bottom of the camera through its 1/4"-20 male thread. Once the strap is connected, it can sustain the weight of a camera up to 11 lb. The cross body strap has a G-lock buckle closing system that is modular and compatible with other Gitzo Century straps.

Q: 1. Does this strap fit the later Fuji x100Fs that come with the strap lug inserts?

A: These straps will work with a Fuji X100F.

Q: 2. WILL THIS STRAP HOLD A LEICA M AND LENS?

A: I would say yes. It holds my Fuji XT1 with a 35mm (50mm equiv) lens just fine. I did use the thicker mounting straps (the ones that tie to the camera) instead of the thinner string type. Just a personal preference. I'm believe that both types of mounting straps are rated strong enough to my set up but the thicker ones just gi me feels bit more confident. The strap is nice too. Not too thick, yet not too skinny either. A comfortable fit for me. Enough length to carry it long or short (I'm 6 ft tall).

Q: 3. Do you sell replacement quick releases?

Q: 4. What is the width of the strap? Will this work with older Tamrac straps?

A: The Tamrac Sling Strap Extender (Black) is 1" in width and is meant to be used with other Tamrac Straps.

Q: 5. How do you put it on the camera? It did not come with directions for those of us that has never used one.

A: The base of the Pentax DSLR Leather Hand Strap screws into the female 1/4"-20 tripod socket on the base of your camera. The top of the strap would connect to the camera strap lug or strap D-ring via the strap portion of the hand strap. You can unfasten the button on the Pentax DSLR Leather hand strap and unthread the strap from the plastic strap holder, then thread it through your camera's strap lug, and re-connect the strap depending on how loose/tight you want the strap against your hand. A: The Leica Leather Carrying Strap is approximately 61" long.

Q: 7. Is it strong enough to hold a Fujifilm X-T1 with a big 50-250mm lense on it?

A: I have used it with Sony A7 R and Canon 17-40 mm L lens with Metabones adapter which should be heavier than the Fuji xR1 plus 50-250, the weakest link could be the quick release snap on link. I am now using this with Sony A6000 plus 55-210 mm lens with no issues

A: The Pentax DSLR Leather Hand Strap will fit the Sony a7R III Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 9. For anyone who owns the DSPTCH Heavy sling: has anyone had to buy the optional shoulder pad due to the sling being uncomfortable? I see it as an option on DSPTCH's website. Thanks.

Q: 10. Can water get in either end of the case when the flap is closed ? The photo looks like it's an open area.

A: The MegaGear Leather Case with Strap for Select Canon PowerShot Cameras (Black) is not waterproof, so water could enter the case.

[Black] I bought this for the Fujifilm X-T1. Its a 500% improvement over the stock strap. The leather is of very high grade, Soft and thick. The shoulder pad have a very soft rubber backing that treat you neck like baby skin and won't slip. 5

[Black] This this is perfect for my new Q2. Fits both camera and wrist with just enough slack to be quickly available, yet still allowing full use of both hands. The neck strap tha comes with the camera is too long for the weight of the camera and allows it to sway enough to affect one's balance. Not cool for a 72 year old man. 5

[Black] When I first got the strap the first thing I noticed was that the leather was soft and supple. I thought the thing would break if you pulled at it, but its really very strong. It has a Matt finish with a tiny hint of shine, and the edges is stitched white. The neck protector is a little ticker and stiffer but bends really well, and the strap is easy to fold into a bag The metal lugs are strong and stiff and easy to mount. There is an exposed bit of untreated leather that touches the camera - 1) to avoid staining and 2) because its softer and not abrasive when touching the camera (I use an M240 silver) Compared to other Leather straps, I think that its properly priced even if its got the Leica brand on it. Its thinner than other brands, but its so much softer and thinner but I feel just as confident with the strap around my shoulder. It has the ability to shorten the length, but I would have liked the ability to make the length shorter. Im 5'9 and at its shortest length, the camera sits on my belly, just above my belly button when standing. Id have liked it a little higher. At the longest length, it sits at my waist and close to my groin. Not exactly friendly for people of average height. I think it would be punishing for people who are shorter than me. 5
