The black DPA 6060 CORE is a subminiature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone designed for use with wireless systems for broadcast, performance, and theatrical applications. The tiny, 3mm electret-condenser capsule delivers crisp, clear, and intelligible speech, while being easy to hide in clothing or costumes, making the mic well suited to the demands of professional presentations, theater and live stage work as well as TV, film, and video productions.

The 6060 shrinks DPA's CORE technology down to a 60% smaller size that still delivers extended dynamic range and extremely low self noise for outstanding sound quality. An included capsule protection grid protects the mic element and supplies a subtle 4 dB soft boost between 8 to 20 kHz, lightly enhancing signal presence to ensure clarity. The cap can be removed for cleaning and attaches to the mic with a firm click that can be felt and heard.

With an SPL rating of 134 dB, the microphone is more than capable of handling most standard speakers, vocalists, and presenters. The 6060 CORE is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and features a modular design using a Microdot output connector.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with both the Lectrosonics UM400a & SMV Transmitters? Thanks.

A: The Lectrosonics SMV and UM400a transmitters both feature a TA5M connector which is compatible with the Tram TR50 wired with TA5F for Lectrosonics.

Q: 2. Does it come with a hard case?

A: yes, mine did. it's 3 x 5 x 1.13

Q: 3. Will it fit a Sennheiser MKE 2?

A: The Viviana Beetle Modular Lav Concealer for DPA 6060 and Sennheiser MKE 1 (Black), B&H # VIBDPA6060BK, will fit the Sennheiser MKE 2 lavalier microphone.

Q: 4. Would this work on a Zoom F2?

A: Yes, the Deity W.Lav Pro Lavalier Microphone can be connected to a Zoom F2 Field Recorder using a Microdot to locking 3.5mm TRS adapter wired for compatibility with Sennheiser wireless transmitters (not Sony, as the internal wiring is different) such as the Deity Microphones DA35 Microdot to Locking 3.5mm Adapter - Black (B&H # DEDA3S) or the DPA Microphones DAD6034 Microdot to Locking 3.5mm Sennheiser Adapter (B&H # DPDAD6034).

Q: 5. Will this lock into the Sony UWP-D11's - URX-P03 receiver?

A: This kit is for Sennheiser only. This is a similar kit for SONY: Tram TR50 - Omnidirectional Lavalier Condenser Microphone with 3.5mm Locking Connector for Sony UWP Transmitters (Black) B&H # TRTR50BSETM

Q: 6. What type of connection does this microphone have?

A: While the mic has a TA4F connector as stated by the Shure rep, I think you will find that the preamp has an XLR3M output.

Q: 7. Is there an adapter or some means by which the Tram TR50 might be used with an iPhone?

A: Although it may be possible to adapt this mic to work with the iPhone, you won't benefit greatly from using this good of a mic with your iPhone.Instead, I would suggest using a less expensive mic which is already wired and optimized for the iPhone. The Rode Smartlav+, linked below is the most popular choice currently available.a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1059342-REG/rode_smartlav_smart_lav_lav_mic_for.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1059342-REG/rode_smartlav_smart_lav_lav_mic_for.html/a

Q: 8. How long is the cable and will this Tram TR50 Mic work directly in a camcorder such as a Sony Z-190 — with a longer XLR cable attached?

A: The cable for the TR50 is 4.5 feet long. The mic can be connected directly to the Sony camcorder or used with an additional XLR cable to extend the length. The mic requires 12 to 48V phantom power and the camera will supply it.

Q: 9. Can I use this with a Zoom H5? If so how?

A: This version of the Tram TR50 is intended for use with a Sennheiser wireless transmitter. If you will be using the mic with a Sennheiser transmitter and also want to be able to connect it directly to an XLR input on the H5, you can use the Tram TR79+ Power Supply for TR50 with Sennheiser EW Series Wireless Connection and Positive Bias Wiring - Battery & Phantom (B&H # TRTR79SETP) which would allow you to power the mic using either an LR44 battery or using phantom power from the H5 (with battery removed) or the Ambient Recording EMP3.5 Electret Microphone Power Adapter for Sennheiser evolution Microphones (B&H # AMEMP3.5) which works with phantom power only. If you do not need a TR50 that can be used with a Sennheiser wireless mic system, then the Tram TR50 Omnidirectional Lavalier Condenser Microphone with XLR Connector - Black (B&H # TRTR50BPS) would be a much better option since it has a hardwired XLR connector and can be connected directly to a mic input on the H5, or connected directly to a mixer or amplifier capable of supplying phantom power. Please contact us by phone or through live chat if you would like further assistance.

Q: 10. Are there tie clip alternatives that secure to the actual lavalier instead of the cable for the lavalier?

A: We do carry some universal lavalier tie clips which should work with this microphone, such as BH #AUAT8417.

[0.11 lb] Great little lapel clip. It has nice loops on the back to hold the wire and hide it nicely. Very small and compact.
