The beige DPA 6061 CORE is a subminiature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone designed for use with wireless systems for broadcast, performance, and theatrical applications. The low-sensitivity electret-condenser capsule can handle even very loud performers to deliver crisp, clear, and intelligible speech. The mic's 3mm size is easy to hide in clothing or costumes, making it well suited to the demands of professional presentations, theater, and live stage work as well as TV, film, and video productions.

The 6061 shrinks DPA's CORE technology down to a 60% smaller size that still delivers extended dynamic range and extremely low self noise for outstanding sound quality. An included capsule protection grid protects the mic element and supplies a subtle 4 dB soft boost between 8 to 20 kHz, lightly enhancing signal presence to ensure clarity. The cap can be removed for cleaning and attaches to the mic with a firm click that can be felt and heard.

With an SPL rating of 144 dB, the microphone is more than capable of handling even very loud vocalists, presenters, and speakers. The 6061 CORE is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and features a modular design using a Microdot output connector. This version includes a TA4F adapter compatible with Shure transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the pre amp code number from Shure ?

A: If I understand the question correctly, the part # for the pre amp for the MX185 is the RK100PK.https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/469581-REG/Shure_RK100PK_RK100PK_RFI_Resistant.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/469581-REG/Shure_RK100PK_RK100PK_RFI_Resistant.html/a

Q: 2. Will this work with the DJI Mic 2 system?

A: The Shure CVL Centraverse Cardioid Lavalier Microphone cannot be used with the DJI Mic 2 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder for Camera & Smartphone (2.4 GHz), the connector is a mini-XLR and the DJI Mic2 system requires a 3.5mm connector.

Q: 3. How long is the cord, what connector does it use?

A: This mic has a 4' cable length, and comes with a ta4f connection wired for Shure wireless systems.

Q: 4. Will this microphone work with the Shure Beta inline xlr preamp using phantom power?

A: Yes, it is compatible.

Q: 5. This will work with Wirless go system?

A: This microphone is incompatible with the RODE Go

Q: 6. Is the XLR connector female or male? I am connecting to a Roland PA mic input XLR.

A: The SM11-CN features a male XLR jack. This will allow for connection to most PA systems.

Q: 7. can this microphone work with external voice recorders such as Zoom h1n?

The CVL has a TA4F (4-pin mini-XLR female) connector and the input on the recorder is 3.5mm TRS. In order to use the CVL, you would need to use the Shure Wired TwinPlex Microphone Preamp with Belt Clip - TA4F to XLR (B&H # SHRPM400TQG) together with a phantom power supply such as the Xvive Audio P1 Portable Phantom Power Supply with Rechargeable Battery (B&H # XVP1), and an XLR female to 3.5mm TRS male cable like the Kopul XRSM 3-Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm RA Stereo Mini-Plug Cable - 1.5' (B&H # KOXRSM015B).

[0.13 lb] I have 5 of these. I have recommended them to other performers. I use them on my banjos. The are incredible, I use a tywrap and fix it to a tension hook on the outside of the banjo facing down into a sound hole. It has a great sound, I have used it for years, from a small pa, to onstage for a large audience. It always performs well. I have also used it for recording along with the front mic. With Banjo, when you move off axis it changes the tone, but with this, mic, you have no problem with that. The sound is always consistant. Well Done Shure.
