Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you use an iPhone charging brick with this?

A: Please note that iPhone options run the gamut with respect both to connectors (Lightning, Thunderbolt/USB C, etc.) and wattages. However, for best results we would recommend an AC adapter to USB C (or a rechargeable power bank noted as having "Power Delivery" or "PD" functionality) supplying at least 40W. It can work with less than 40W of power, but charging times may be increased.

Q: 2. Is there an option to use this as a simple, stand alone charger for the sb910 batteries? Maybe with some kind of external powerbrick?

A: The Shure SBM910 Battery Charging Module is not made to be used as a standalone charger and is best paired for use with the Shure SBRC battery charger.

Q: 3. supports free voltage? or 110v only?

A: Power input is via USB-C, thus it can be charged by any USB-C AC Adapter.

Q: 4. what is the different between ad4q to ad4d?

A: The Shure AD4Q is a quad-channel receiver, and the AD4D is a dual-channel receiver.

Q: 5. Will this battery power a recorder/mixer and 4-6 wireless receivers for a whole day of shooting (10-12 hours)?

A: The battery life of the PSC Pelican LiFE Battery with Charging Port is dictated by the specific draw of the equipment connected to a corresponding battery distribution system on the sound cart. In general, one PSC LiFE battery should last for several hours and possibly a whole 10-12 hour shoot day, but it is best practice to have a spare on hand if needed.

Q: 6. can this unit be made stand alone?

A: The Shure MXWNCS2 Networked 2-Port Charging Station BH #SHMXWNCS2 is designed to work with and complement Shure MXW1 and MXW6 microphone transmitters and link the microphones to access point channels and networks battery statistics to the control software. it is a system component and not designed to be a stand-alone product.

Q: 7. Does this come with a hard case? Does it come with a case? Is there a hard case for this and ideally a pair of transmitters?

A: No, a hard case is not included with the Shure ADX5D Axient Digital Dual-Channel Slot-Mount Wireless Receiver (470 to 636 MHz), As options for a hard case, the Pelican 1150 Case without Foam - Black (B&H # PE1150B), the Pelican 1150 Case with Foam - Black (B&H # PE1150FB), the Pelican 1120 Case without Foam - Black (B&H # PE1120B), or the Pelican 1120 Case with Foam - Black (B&H # PE1120FB) could work. For compatible transmitters, the Shure AD and ADX Series Transmitters can be used. A few of the options for handheld transmitters include the Shure ADX2/SM58 Digital Handheld Wireless Microphone Transmitter with SM58 Capsule - G57: 470 to 616 MHz (B&H # SHADX2SM58G5) and the Shure ADX2/B58 Digital Handheld Wireless Microphone Transmitter with Beta 58A Capsule - G57: 470 to 616 MHz (B&H # SHADX2B5857). The Shure ADX1 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter with TA4M - G57: 470 to 608 MHz (B&H # SHADX1G57), the Shure ADX1 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter with LEMO3 - G57: 470 to 608 MHz (B&H # SHADX1LM3G57), and the Shure ADX1M Digital Micro Bodypack Wireless Transmitter - G57: 470 to 608 MHz (B&H # SHADX1MG57) are options for compatible bodypack transmitters.

Q: 8. Does this come with the appropriate cable for power? I see the P4Pro comes with a combined cable for a single battery and the charger. If I'm buying 2 charging hubs (for 6 batteries total) will I also need to buy another cable?

A: Hello Ethan. The charging hub does not come with a cable. You will use the charger/cable from your Phantom 4 Pro. If you wish to use a second hub at exactly the the same time, you will require a second charger/cable. Thanks.

Q: 9. It is clear that the gooseneck base for this system takes two charging slots to recharge. Can I still configure the transmission and reception of 8 gooseneck mics with the 8 slots unit?

A: Yes the goose neck mic takes two slots to charge. You can configure the 8 mics with the one charging base.

Q: 10. can I use this Hasselblad battery charging hub in Vietnam ?

[0.425 lb] Just had two of these out on a show that hit every area of NYC and these things didn't blink. Excellent audio quality, great range, super easy to use. Even when the receiver itself was showing a low quality connection, whatever is going on under the hood kept everything super smooth.

The only time I had any dropouts at all were due to physical limitations (like being behind thick concrete walls or getting separated in a huge crowd) but that's going to happen with any units.

Was using it with a pair of AD1s so I'm not able to comment on ShowLink.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these units to anyone who needs high performance wireless!
