Switch between up to four audio feeds and mix in an independent mic or line-level input to the selected audio channel with the FSR 4x1 Audio Switcher Mic Line Mixer Mono Ampfrom FSR. Featuring four switched program audio inputs and a mic/line-level input, this switcher enables you to add the feed from a voice-lift system or microphone to your selected active program audio. Additionally, an integrated 25W mono audio amplifier enables you to drive either a 4- to 8-ohm speaker or a 70V line output.

The switcher offers balanced/unbalanced input and output capability and is equipped with DIP switches that allow you to set the voice input level to mic or line, adjust microphone sensitivity, set phantom power, and select mono or stereo operation. There are two sets of control buttons for adjusting the volume or muting the program audio and voice inputs. In addition to the front-panel push buttons, the switcher can also be controlled via an external dry contact closure or RS-232 serial commands.

Q: 1. Hello, on the rear panel of the device is mentioned that power supply is 120V AC 50/60Hz but in Europe supply is 220V AC 60Hz.Can we connect this device on European power supply? Usually product that comes from USA have both 110/220V AC power supply.Thank you

A: this device has not have a switch to 220V, so i do not recomend that you connect it to a 220V.

Q: 2. will this be good for video recording, i.e. piano music?

A: The MX153 does feature 2 mic inputs however is designed primarily for permanent installation in paging applications.

Q: 3. if i use a toslink optical input, can i take it out using a coaxial output?

A: Yes it can.

Q: 4. Does the mixer come with the 5 pin Euroblock connector?

Q: 5. Can the Kramer VS-4X be used for one input with output to one of four selected outputs? (Signal in opposite direction from the labeled inputs and outputs.)

A: The VS−4X is a high−performance switcher for balanced stereo audio signals on XLR connectors. It switches any one of four stereo signals to a single stereo output.

Q: 6. can i select more than one knob in the same time? (4example: switch between 5.1 and stereo signal)

A: From my experience you can not select but one input at a time. The product is outstanding, though. I am in to very high end audio and have high end audio components connected like Mark Levinson, Theta, Magnum Dynalab and notice no signal degrade.

Q: 7. Is this transparent and isolated enough to use in a high end AV system to share two preamps with one amp?

A: I can't perceive any sound colorization or deterioration with this switcher. Perfect solution for me. Very quiet switching with no perceivable pop .

Q: 8. wattage per channel?

A: The RM82 does not have any amplification. It outputs a line level signal.

Q: 9. Will the analog rca outputs carry the encoded old school 5.1 dolby surround?

A: No, the MuxLab 4x1's RCA outputs would only be capable of outputting stereo analog audio.

Q: 10. Compatible with Apple TV?

A: Yes it is. According to MuxLab this product is compatible with Apple TVs.

[1 RU] I use this to switch Pro mics to a Pro Pre Amp. No more unplugging and plugging in mics. Very nice to use a Studio Pre with my mics. without the hassle of changing cables. I would buy another one but the cost is not in line with the product. One is good to have though. 5

[1 RU] Excellent build quality and design, extremely simple to use, flawless sound transmission, looks good and takes minimal space on my studio desk. I am using it to switch between my audio interface/computer output and my separate mixer output to my one set of studio speakers. Setup and operation is a breeze, just hook up your XLR cables, select the input source with the front panel channel buttons, and that's it! I am very happy with this purchase, highly recommended! 5

[1 RU] Bought a different company's used digital switcher that turned out to be really glitchy, so ended up getting the Inday new here at B&H. No issues, does what it should. Have noticed no degradation of sound whatsoever and it stays cool in my AV console... no heat. 5

[1 RU] Bought this for a dual feed need that I had. Works well. Interfaced it with my Logitech all in one remote. I had to do some manipulation to get it to work where it would change from one connection to the other. I was not able to control the power on/off functions with the remote. I could get it to turn off but not back on. I just leave it on always and it does what I need it to. 5

[1 RU] Using to switch optical signals from 4x sources into 1x input on a Benchmark DAC-1. Works flawlessly. Nice button action on the select front panel control. No clicks of pops with sticking or power. Included remote works well, but it's a little flimsy/generic type (I just use the front panel button and will be programming into a universal remote). Highly recommended! And made in the USA. 5
