[0.2 lb] The adhesive tape works fine for mounting prints using the hinge approach. I would rate the linen adhesive 5 stars. However, the dispensing box needs to stiffened, especially in the dispenser area. The reason is that when trying to apply the tape, the box tab opens up, gets jammed, or curls the backing tape and tape itself under the tab. I have used this type of dispenser when applying many types of tapes, dots, stickers, etc. and the process works well with these items but not with this linen tape. The dispenser is 3 star or less. I didn't downgrade the overall rating since the tape is great and does the job.

[0.2 lb] I've been using Lineco tape for years both gummed and self adhesive. I've never used their black tape, but I needed it for a book I'm working on. It holds well and I have not had any problems with lifting off the surface and I don't expect to since I have some projects I did over 30yrs ago and the tape is still holding.

As an international buyer, I have to give a shout out to B&H as well - purchasing and shipping was a straightforward and easy process and their prices, including shipping, is cheaper what I can pay for this product locally, if I can get it at all.

[0.2 lb] I use this for mounting photos to mats - it sticks well and is very easy to work with. Furthermore, it's easy to remove, even many years.

[0.2 lb] After much searching for the appropriate tape for a 1950's geological map I finally settled on the Lineco Linen Tape. I used this product to retype the outside edges of a map that is mounted on cardboard, replacing old tape that was warn and falling off. The backing on the tape pealed off very easily and the tape went on the map with no problem. It looks beautiful and very much like the original product.

[0.2 lb] This tape is very good for hinging a mat to a mounting board. Some people also use it for hinging photographs on the mounting board. I used to do that as well but I couldn't remove it from the back of a print without damaging the print itself. I switched to the lineco tissue to attach the print and I prefer it vastly. I still use this tape to attach the mat to the matboard and am very happy with it

[0.2 lb] This is the tape for general archival matting and mounting of photographic prints and other artwork that requires a non invasive, neutral, environment. I have used this product for many years without problems. If you've ever used the tape that has water activated adhesive you're going to love this one ... no mess ... no fuss ... does it's job like it's suppose to.

[0.2 lb] Been using Self-Adhesive Linen Tape by Lineco for over three years now and love it! It's strong. Yet, is thin so it doesn't appear below the artwork. Easy to peel apart from the backing material and easy to apply.
