A: It would greatly depend on the size of the LED bulb, as not all are made with a base that is narrow enough to fit the socket of this flood lamp.

A: You cannot control the fan.

A: The socket in this kit works with Edison type bulb. However, if the bulb has a very wide base, the reflector could not be used with it.

[Silver] It didn't disappoint. It's built solid. A perfect fit for Profoto lights. It also works with the 5 degree grid made for Profoto zoom reflector 2. 5

[1.9 lb] Not sure why someone else's wasn't quiet, but mine sounds about as quiet as any fan could possibly be. I might go for the 100watt instead, but this seems like a great kit. Can't beat the ac/dc option w/2 batteries included.... plus I got a killer deal :-) 5
