The Intellytech HC Fast Frame Scrim Diffuser 5x6.5' Gridfrom Intellytech HC Fast Frame Scrim Diffuser 5x6.5' Gridis for illuminating a large subject or area with light fixtures or natural light. With the Fast Frame system there's no assembly of softboxes or concern about speed rings dedicated to specific lights. The metal frame locks into place in seconds and can be supported upright or overhead with optional light stands and grip heads. You can pump light through the diffusion cloth for soft lighting or fill light. The cloth is often used with the kit's honeycomb grid to direct the light source and allow selective lighting. Another option is overhead use, like a butterfly, to tame the contrast of harsh light or the sun. It all fits in the included carrying bag.

A: Although not considered a silent grid cloth, like any material pulled tight enough, it will be silent. I’ve used this for years on various outdoor video shoots and I’ve never picked up any sound from it.

[64 x 6 x 6"] Diffuses light beautifully. Durable and easy to stretch. This is on a scrim jim is great for indoor use. Don't both with the regular silk, just get the grid. 5

[64 x 6 x 6"] I'm always looking for ways to make set up faster. This definitely does the trick. Personally, I would like a thicker diffusion for the types of interviews I do so I might have a custom one made from some magic cloth. Also, the included diffusion has velcro to attach it to the frame and once the fabric is stretched tight the velcro seems like it might tear. 5

[64 x 6 x 6"] Once you buildnit the first time, yiu can fol it wit the diffusion and grid. Tha clamps with pin that come with it are OK, but not great, i prefer cardelini clamps or even mafer clamps. 5

[11.4 lb] As soon as I saw the reviews, I thought this would be a great way of saving time on set. And it is! There are no resellers in the UK so we ordered from B&H and it had arrived a few days later in great condition. For the price it's a great fast way of adding light. We used it on set yesterday for the first time. Blasted a Nanlite 500 and a 300 through it to add a natural soft light source to a loose set and it worked extremely well. I'd recommend this for a quick setup and when you want a larger light source than a soft box, or a back light for a larger setup. Only negative is it takes a long time to add the grid diffusion to the softbox, so once that's on there you won't want to remove it! 5
