A: Yes, the Jabra Evolve 40 allows for both Left and Right side configurations for the microphone.

Q: 3. Hi, I would like to know the cord length and if there is a mute/volume button? thanks

A: Cord length is 8 feet. There is a button that controls the microphone. It alows for on or off. On the edge of this button is a rolling wheel that controls the volume, at its lowest setting cancels all sound to the speakers.

Q: 4. Do I need to have a separate cord to go from the quick disconnect to the phone?

A: If your phone does not support Quick Disconnect, you would need the GN 1200 Smart Cord (http://bhpho.to/1BR19KA)

Q: 5. Can this Model be integrated with Microsoft Sky for business or Microsft Lync.?

A: No, this device has Full compatibility with UC systems and VoIP Clients.

Q: 6. Can this model connect to an iphone using Bluetooth directly? Or do you have to use the dongle with the iPhone somehow?

A: It does not. The headset for the UltraPak is this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1269395-REG/eartec_hubcyb_cyber_lightweight_plug_in_headset.html

Q: 8. What is the difference between 7510-409 and 7510-309?

A: Model 7510-309 is Microsoft Lync Certified. Model 7510-409 is UC Standard certified. In my experience, the functionality is exactly the same when it comes to seeing similar products with different certifications and it is more of a marketing tactic. Both products would work with any UC application like microsoft Lync, skype, etc.

Q: 9. what is the difference between UC and MS? The reason I asked is because MS changed something on my PC and now my speakers won't work and want to buy something that will work.

A: Sorry for any inconvenience. The MS models are certified for Microsoft Skype for Business (Lync), and certain features in the headset settings are compatible when you buy a certified product, for that specific soft phone system. Overall, a UC headset should still work with a soft VoIP phone.

Q: 10. Hi, I would like to know the cord length please? Thanks

A: If you use the headphones with a computer that requires a USB connection, the cord is just about seven feet in length. If you use the headphones with a cellphone or something else that requires a 3.5 mm plug, you remove the USB/Controls portion (which is the black part) of the cable and are left with the orange portion of the cable that is four feet in length.

[Closed-Back] Exactly what I needed. I have Skype for Business (Lync) - that my international team likes to use to communicate via voice and WebEx meetings with integrated voice that I host. Because I was docking my Windows 7 work computer and using my external speakers off the docking station the 3.5 mm jack on the laptop body just would not behave correctly when trying to use my smartphone headsets on it. The Jabra control pod solved that and the audio quality on the headphones is great - and it's comfortable for a long phone call.

[Mono] the headphone with mic with controls on the ear works great. I looked at others that had the controls on the desk and did not want this style. the style is exactly what I needed.

[Yes, on Boom] Sound quality is great. Incoming and outgoing. Also love that it has a 3.5mm jack in addition to the USB

[Closed-Back] Our organization has deployed these to over a dozen remote employees and they love them. So much so, when they interact with each other, they recommend them and we deploy more.
