The 110mm Tilta Clamp-On Adapter for MB-T12 Matte Box 110mmfrom Tilta Clamp-On Adapter for MB-T12 Matte Box 110mmis used to attach the matte box to a lens with a 110mm front diameter. The adapter attaches to the lightweight 4 x 5.65" matte box via keyhole slots and fastens to the lens using a screw-on clamp. A: I have the Sony 28-135 and found I could use the clamp-on ring around the front of the lens, although it is a tight fit and doesn't slide on fully due to the tabs Sony put on the lens to mount the standard hood. However, it does stay on okay. I measured the diameter before ordering, but those tabs make it uncertain and I haven't got my hands on an 18-110 yet.

Q: 3. Can this be used with tilta mb-T03 matte box?

A: No unfortunately it cannot. This adapter ring is not compatible with the MB-T03.

A: There are not, but the size of these are 87.4mm!

A: While it comes with a 134 mm lens adapter installed, 114, 110, 95, and 85mm adapters are also included in the box for fitting different size lens diameters.

Q: 7. I have a Small Rig Mini Matte Box Lite, will this 55mm work on it

A: The Tilta 55mm Adapter Ring for Mini Clamp-On Matte Box would not be compatible with the SmallRig Mini Matte Box. The 55mm adapter ring in the SmallRig Matte Box Adapter Ring Kit for Mini Matte Box (52/55/58/62/86-95mm) BH #SM3383 kit would have the recommended 55mm ring.

Q: 8. What's the distance between the attatchment slots? I want to see if this will fit on an Arri MMB2. The Arri top flag is too wide.

A: This is a top flag for a Tilta MB-T12 Matte Box only. We are not aware of it being able to work with any other Matte Box brands.

Q: 9. What is the 85mm adapter ring for? I can find no lens anywhere with that size. What am I missing?

A: The size of 85mm is a Front Diameter for some lenses. It will clamp on to the outer portion of the lens with an 85mm front diameter.

Q: 10. Are the adapter rings for the Mini Matte Box compatible with the Mirage Matte Box?

A: No, the Tilta Mirage Matte Box has a 95mm opening and would need a 95mm adapter ring to fit properly. [Clamp] I was taking a look at which MB to buy after renting time and again and almost went with the bright tangerine, but for what I was doing didn't require the weight saving and extra expense. This does feel really well made and the 'free' / included mounting options are just the icing on the cake. In the attached picture I have the ARRI Rota Pola, followed by a straight Polarizer to create a VND and a Promist in front. Would highly recommend buying this piece of kit. 5

[110 mm] I love how Titlta plans their products around versatile filmmakers. I picked this adapter up to work with many of my step-up rings. Works perfectly and made solid. Added this to the full matte box kit they have. 5

[110 mm] After looking at a few options I ended up getting this Matte box for 2 major reasons. 1. It has a 15mm LW rod attachment that helps support the lens and gives you comfort that your not pulling on your lens mount on the camera. 2. It has different quickly changeable lens clamps. You just slide it on and twist the clamp so if your not in to using the rods setup you can just quickly put it on. The 3 stages are nice if you want to use a pola, ND and a grad. Its light and pretty inexpensive compared to a lot of the others in its class. Works well and is easy to travel with. 5

[Aluminum] Got this to fit on a Cooke S4i. It fit perfectly. Nice clamp on adapter to add to the set that already comes with the MB-T12 Kit . 5

[110 mm] I used this clamp-on adapter to mount my Tilta MB-T12 matte box to Cooke S4 lenses, which have a 110mm outer diameter. Worked with no problems. As with all Tilta backs (and the comparable items from Arri and Bright Tangerine), it can be attached without tools, which is great. 5
