A: The DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor is capable of extracting 2 channel or 5.1 channel audio from an HDMI output device while still passing the audio with video over HDMI. To avoid feedback to external audio monitors, turn down to 0 on any audio from the source and destination display.

A: Yes, the DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor should work for extracting audio from your T.V. to RCA so long as your T.V. has an HDMI output that would mirror the video feed. You may want to first extract the audio before sending the video signal to your T.V. instead of extracting after it's been sent through the T.V.

A: For the DVDO Air 4K 2160p/30 HDMI Wireless Extender Kit (30'+) BH #DVAIR4K, it is made to be Line-of-Sight Connection. However even though this is what is listed at times I have found that they will still work between walls and cabinets. Unfortunately the only way to find out if it will work for you is to test it.

Q: 9. What is the approximate range of the IR emitter? Just wondering how close to the equipment it needs to be to work effectively?

A: We recommend keeping the IR controller within 30 feet of the KanexPro 4K HDMI Extender Kit over Cat 6 (230').

Q: 10. Does this device extract audio from Apple Tv to output to amplifier via Rca Output?

A: Yes, the DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor does support HDCP 2.2 and that is one of the requirements for the Apple TV. It should work.

[1.295 lb] This item works flawlessly with an Apple TV 4k to output audio to a Sonos Beam using the Sonos optical adapter. I had to return a cheaper unit to Amazon because it caused flickering and video would drop out. This one did the trick and seems to have no issues. 5

[1.295 lb] I had previously bought an audio extractor from elsewhere that met all the specs but did not work on the Apple 4K TV. It was able to extract the audio (2-ch) but could not pass through the video at the same time. I had to return that one. After much hesitation, I went ahead and bought this unit, and it works as advertised! I'm also using AVocation matrix switches for both the HDMI and audio outputs, and the signals are getting through to all my TVs and speakers. I put the EDID on 2-ch, FWIW. 5

[1.295 lb] Purchase to split the Apple 4K audio in my Control4 home automation system. Worked flawlessly without issue. I am able to split the audio signal depending on where I am watching the Apple TV, this does not mean I can watch Apple TV simultaneously multiple rooms. 5
