One note is that if used for video, you will pick up a nearly discernible buzz but again this is the same on both lens. Possibly pull the lens and remount to make sure it is secure and locked, other than that I don't believe you should hear any difference form your 24-70. I'll be placing an order for my own 35mm Z lens tomorrow.
