Adventure Brass - Musical Sampling Instrument Library Downloadis a Kontakt-powered virtual instrument with a library that accurately captures the sound and expressiveness of medium-sized brass sections to spontaneously craft bold brass melodies, both in unison and harmony. Easy and fun to use, it provides composers, arrangers, and producers with all the necessary sounds and articulations to create adventurous, majestic, and pompous brass lines that are believable and ideal for television, film, or game-scoring projects.

Adventure Brass offers sections of two trumpets, four horns, two trombones, and one tuba, recorded in the traditional seating arrangement with three microphone positions and at 24-bit / 48 kHz audio resolution. It uses Morph Stacking programming techniques to allow playing any note length and still sound natural. Patches come with dynamic controls to help shape your attacks and releases, including two attack variations—Staccato and Staccatissimo—and a To Silence function that uses the Mod wheel to fade sound to silence.

For those who like to quantize, Humanization lets you randomize the start-note and end-note positions of any given note that is played. A Solo Trumpet Overlay button subtlety layers a solo trumpet to add warmth and emotion to your brass section. The playable repetition patch offers recorded repetitions with each note of the phrase being individually playable.

Adventure Brass requires a full version of Kontakt 5.5.1 or later (available separately) and can be used as a plug-in or standalone on Mac and Windows computers.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How thick are the leg sections?

A: LEG DIAMETER 1 28.6 mm LEG DIAMETER 2 25.2 mm LEG DIAMETER 3 21.8 mm

Q: 2. what is the difference between the Benro TAD27A and the TAD28A?

A: The difference is in the sections. TAD27A is 3 sections and TAD28A is 4 sections. Having more sections allows the TAD28A to fold smaller to 20.7 inches so it is easier to carry. TAD28A is 2.4 inches smaller in the maximum height though. Some photographers feel that having more sections does not stabilize the tripod as well in a long exposure with wind for example.

Q: 3. Does this monopod come with a carry bag or case?

A: No, a carrying case is not included with the purchase of the Benro MAD38A Adventure Series 3 Aluminum Monopod B&H # BEMAD38A. If you are looking for a case for use with the Benro MAD38A Adventure Series 3 Aluminum Monopod, the Ruggard Padded Tripod / Light Stand Case (22"), B&H # RUBP20222. would work for your usage needs.

Q: 4. Does this include a bag/carrying case?

A: I'm sorry, no.

Q: 5. What is the diameter of the top plate?

A: The Benro TAD27A Series 2 Adventure Aluminum Tripod has a base mount diameter of 56mm.

Q: 6. Can the rubber foot of the Benro MAD38A monopod be unscrewed off the foot, then the monopod be attached to the Benro VT2 (3-feet locking base)?

A: I have read on the 3-foot base page that people have used it with the MAD 38A - so I'm confused! There is a tool included that fits the nut holding the included foot on, but I cannot turn it myself to see what the results are. So, there is conflicting information out there (here).

Q: 7. This is going to be my first monopod. Will I be attaching this to the camera body (shorter lenses) and the lens for longer lenses? OR will I also need to get a pod head?

A: You can screw in Benro MAD49A Adventure Series 4 Aluminum Monopod directly to the camera or directly to a long lens that has a tripod collar on the lens. You would need a clamp and quick release if you want to be able to quickly add and remove the lens or camera from the monopod without having to screw it in and out.

Q: 8. are the clamps metal or plastic?

A: The levers are plastic but the piece on the leg that does the clamping is die cast magnesium. It might look and feel like plastic but it is not. I have had the legs apart and can confirm this.

Q: 9. How accurate is the load capacity? Looking to use this with a Pentax 6x7

A: The weight capacity on the TAD18A is very accurate, as it definitely hold a Pentax 67. However, this tripod still requires a head such as the Benro B3 Triple Action Ball Head, BH # BEB3 https://bhpho.to/2XnTeuA

Q: 10. Do the legs grip well enough to hold 8 lb slider with a 7-9 lb rig? Is the leg tension adjustable/can it be tightened?

A: Clamp tension is easily adjustable with the included tool. I would feel confident putting that much weight on this tripod. Some clamps on mine were set a bit looser than I'd prefer but that was not a problem to correct.

[Kontakt 5.5.1] Ive only scratched the surface of Emotional Violins features, but it already has proven useful in two recent projects. It sits well in the mix on top of other orchestra string libraries. It has more than two dozen articulations that gives it a realistic sound. Well done.
