The black handle features a removable silver 1/4"-20 top mounting screw and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for mounting various accessories. The bottom cap features a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole and screws off to reveal a larger M20/20mm thread for additional extensions.

[Aluminum] Great as long as you remove the loop and carabiner, which make a helluva racket picked up on the mic. Once those are off, it's a quiet handhold for a mic. Solid and simply design that is easy to use for a mic or a camera connection as you have both thread options. 5
