A: Yes it will as this is a Sony BP-U style battery.

Q: 3. Will this work correctly with a Sony FX6?

A: Yes it will however, It is safest to use Official Sony Batteries with Sony Digital Cinema Cameras. It is possible for Sony to release Firmware that may lock out or limit functionality for 3rd party batteries. In the event that the FX6 rejects the battery via firmware you can bypass it by using the battery's D-tap output to power the camera instead.

Q: 4. Can I use this on a 14.8Volt light?

A: We would not recommend it as this battery is designed for cine cameras and LED lights that are between 24 to 30V input.

Q: 5. Is it safe to power a Blackmagic 7" video assist monitor via the D-tap while also powering the Sony FX6?

A: Blackmagic Video Assist monitors can be safely powered by the Hawk-Woods BP-75UX 75Wh 14.4V Lithium-Ion Battery with 2 x D-Tap Ports when using a regulated cable.

A: This battery should work very well with the FS5 Mark II.

A: At 500w output rate at 48v, the Hawk Woods Reel Power 4-Way V-Mount Battery 48 VDC Power Adapter, would produce 10.42 amps.

Q: 9. Since this item is non-cancelable and nonreturnable, have you tested it with the listed cameras to ensure that it works?

A: Yes, the Hawk-Woods Dummy Battery for Canon 5D, 7D and 60D will work with the listed cameras. If it does not work, it would be defective and we would exchange for a working model.

Q: 10. How reliable is the company or at least the battery, I can't find too much about them on google and I'm a little afraid that this battery will be as good as 30usd knock off

[26 VDC] This battery is a great value and is used as a spare for my new Profoto Nikon A1 for the Hasselblad X1D II. The flash came from Profoto directly as a demo. It was a screaming deal. The flash was marked as a demo but as near as I can tell it was never opened or use - brand new. Very happy with the flash and the battery which serves as a backup for my other my other Canon A1 flash as well. I really appreciate the way Profoto gear is so well integrated. Highly recommended! 5

[350 Wh] Honestly I just got it and I'm positively shocked at what a great idea this type of rigging is and how well it seeems to take weight. I've got Hytron batteries on it which are INCREDIBLY heavy and while I wouldn't recommend doing it too much just knowing it can take it in a pinch is great. Great build quality. [26 VDC] Using this with the Atomos Shinobi 7 and 3 different Gold mount batteries. Build quality is great and the batteries latch in nicely. Just plug in the cable before sliding the receiver plate onto the back of the monitor. The 3 batteries I am using with this - Indi Pro Tools Micro-Series 98W, Core SWX Hypercore NEO Slim 98Wh, and an official Anton Bauer Digital Series 90 Gold Mount Battery 87Wh. 5

Another positive is the integration for the Teradek receiver if you have the male and female battery plates. It’s a great product. Highly recommended. 5
