Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I just lost the lens cap for the 18-150m lens that came with my Canon M5. Will this lens cap be a good replacement?

A: The 49 mm lens cap fits on my 50 mm lens. Your lens cap would probably be larger, as my similar lens cap is 67 mm.

Q: 2. What size lens cover do I need for my 50.8 mm

A: If you have a 50mm 1.8, then yes, it takes a 49mm cap.

Q: 3. Will this cap fit my canon sx 530 camera?

A: This cap will not fit on a SX530. To use a lens cap you would need the thread adapter https://bhpho.to/2FU4PGV and a 67mm cap https://bhpho.to/2JlSFHM.

Q: 4. Will it fit for 15-45 efm lens?

A: Yes, I purchased specifically for this lens.

Q: 5. Will this cap fit my Rebel T7 esf 18-55mm lens?

A: The 18-55 Canon lens uses 58mm caps and filters. Please take a look at the following link: https://bhpho.to/3Pz49eB

Q: 6. The cap for my Canon Powershot SX60 HS has broken, will this 49mm work? If not, what will?

A: Unfortunately, this E-49 49mm Lens cap from Canon is not compatible with the Canon Powershot SX60 HS nor does Canon produce the original cap any longer. If you have a Canon Filter Adapter FA-DC67A for this camera, you can use the Canon E-67 II 67mm Lens Cap, BH # CALC67 instead. https://bhpho.to/3Q4OZdZ

Q: 7. Is this a real Canon lens cap, or is it a good copy of it?

A: The Canon E-49 Lens Cap is a Canon brand front lens cap.

Q: 8. Will this fit on the SX50

A: No, the SX50 will use a 52mm sized lens cap not the 55mm.

Q: 9. Can this be used on a Canon FD 28mm lens?

A: The Canon 28mm Lens Cap is incompatible with the Canon FD 28mm f2.8 Lens. Instead, get the Sensei 52mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap, BH #SELC52.

Q: 10. Trying to find a replacement cap for my 35 mm 1.4 L Canon lens. Thanks!

A: This did not fit my standard lens.

[95 mm] I ordered this to replace my Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens cap, which I somehow misplaced. This is exactly like the original. I'll try to take better care of it.

[95 mm] Got this to have a spare after one my other caps decided to take a tumble down a canyon. The nice thing about this cap is I get a better grip with the ridges on the center pinches.

[0.07 lb] I like the Sigma lens caps because of the indent on the outer pinchers and the ridges on the center pinchers which gives one a better grip on the cap.

[95 mm] As I was packing up at a recent workshop I realized the lens cap for my Sigma 150-600 C lens was missing. Not sure what happened to it but when I got home, I immediately found that B&H had the lens cap. I had the item in two days and now I feel much better that in such a short period of time I was able to get a cap back on the lens. It was exactly what I needed. Thanks to B&H for always being a dependable source for items that can be very much needed and well as always having wish list items.

[Center Pinch] I use a larger polarizer with a step-up ring on a smaller lens, so I needed a cap that would fit. This works great, fits perfectly.

[0.07 lb] Cap arrived in good time and fitted as expected. I could have got a non Canon version for $10 but I wanted the Canon name on my $3000 lens so I paid around $45.

[0.07 lb] Authentic Canon cap. Much more expensive than the knock offs. If you have the $3000 28-70, why add a cheap knockoff to cover it?
