The rugged CAMVATE 7" Articulating Magic Arm with Super Clampsfrom CAMVATE 7" Articulating Magic Arm with Super Clampsincludes a 7" articulating magic arm and two heavy-duty crab clamps.

Made from CNC-machined aluminum, each clamp provides several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes, and they secure to any rod sized 15-54mm via a silver T-handle screw with sliding bar. The clamps feature rubber padding to ensure a snug and secure fit without marring your equipment. The three joints on the steel and aluminum Magic Arm allow 360° rotation for versatile adjustments, and the arm supports a load of 8.8 lb.

A: Yes. When you loosen the knob, everything loosens up, including the screws. It is quite flexible. FYI - we also own the Ikan version of this unit, and for a few more $ it is better built, I think. One of our Delvs broke; our Ikans seem to be holding up better.

[0.935 lb] This is a very solidly built piece of equipment, well-finished with substantial, firmly tightening connections. I plan on ordering a couple more of these for placing lights inside tight spaces. Jaws will tighten down on a rod but also on a flat surface like a shelf. Why bring another light stand or tripod that will only get in the way when one of these will do? Worth the money. 5

[0.935 lb] Very versatile and can be configured in so many different ways and positions. I use it to hold a YoloLiv streaming device while filming sports. I would normally position the Yolo on the camera hot shoe however, that position is taken with a wireless mic system. Very well constructed using quality materials. 5

[3] I needed something to hold my video camera while offroading in Utah in a rented Jeep. It had to be something substantial without leaving any permanent sign of having been there. The crab clamp gripped the passenger side dashboard grab bar firmly while the magic arm held the camera above the dash without shaking while moving down the trail. The result? Some fantastic videos that I will cherish for years to come. 5

[0.935 lb] This is arm is for pro use and I have no issues with its usability. Please note that the arm are not as lightweight as the other brands. This is only a issue if you are running and gunning, but again quality is close to perfection. Highly recommend this product. 5

[3] Amazingly well crafted. Once I got my son passed the fidget spinner, best toy ever aspect! Lol.. I was able to use it as a multi mount for cameras and mics. So well built. 5

[0.935 lb] I use it to hold camera remotes exactly where I need them. A pin in the 1/4 thread holes allowed me to add a Varizoom rocker on the same assembly. This is a versatile problem-solving widget. 5
