Mount an accessory onto a camera cage or rig with this CAMVATE NATO Rail Clamp for Camera Accessoriesfrom CAMVATE. The clamp mounts onto any NATO rail.

One 3/8"-16 and four 1/4"-20 threaded holes on top allow you to mount a variety of accessories including lighting, audio, monitor, and wireless equipment, or use a screw to mount your camera directly onto the clamp. The red quick release lever allows you to easily mount and unmount the clamp from a rail. One screw and an Allen wrench are included.

[1.6 oz / 45 g] I use this on the side of my cage for mounting a tilta nano ii follow focus to a tilta cage. Works well keeping the width of my rig down. May be a tad more difficult to unmount devices from but it all depends on the geometry of the cage under the nato mount and what needs to be accessible underneath. Whatever the case, its defnitley something good to have on hand for random rigging. 5

[0.15 lb] Searched all over for solutions to rigging my SmallHD 7 monitors. The locking pins on each side of the 1/4-20 mounts are unique & non-standard, so camera mounting leaves the monitor free to twist free, and same for side handles when building a follow-focus kit. These are the only ones that fill the bill, and they also facilitate quick-release NATO adapters, not just for handles, but also mounting microphones to the camera rig. Thank God someone's thinking out there. 5

[0.15 lb] I have a SmallHD 702 I use for director monitoring and focus pulling. The OEM SmallHD handles are DREADFUL and unreliable. I also use the Teradek module which means I can't use 3rd party cages, leaving me only the SmallHD sunhood mount. These NATO rails are a LIFESAVER by enabling me to use more reliable and standard NATO handles. One minor issue is that the included screwdriver is NOT big enough to properly torque the screws. Use a proper size. The included screws are also not hardened very well. Better off swapping them when you can. 5
