This Cooke 180mm T2.8 Anamorphic/i SF Prime Lens PL Mountprovides an added anamorphic flair to the classic, natural yet sharp "Cooke look". This Special Flare Cooke 180mm T2.8 Anamorphic/i SF Prime Lens PL Mountlens offers enhanced flares, bokeh, and other aberrations while complementing standard Anamorphic/i lenses. The 180mm prime incorporates an 11-blade iris for cinematic-looking, 2:1 oval bokeh. Designed for use with both digital cinema and film cameras, the Cooke Anamorphic/i SF primes provide a 2x squeeze, and cover image formats up to Super35. For maximum optical performance, aberration, flare, and distortion control extends over the entire image area, and throughout the 180mm's T2.8-22 aperture range. The Anamorphic/i SF primes are color-matched with Cooke's Anamorphic/i, S4/i, 5/i, and mini S4/i series of prime lenses.

Each Anamorphic/i SF prime sports both a hardened PL mount and a cable connection that use Cooke's /i Technology to transmit lens data to compatible cameras. Lens setting data including focal length, aperture, focus, depth of field, etc., are provided in both feet and metric measurements.

The 180mm Anamorphic/i SF Prime Lens features a 6.6' minimum focus distance, focus marks in feet and meters, and a hard, anodized finish. The lens is constructed with 0.8 MOD geared focus and iris rings for use with follow focus, zoom control, and wireless FIZ systems. A large lens barrel, an increased number of focus marks, and Cooke's cam-style focus movement enable precise focus pulls. Focus marks are clearly visible and are engraved on the lens barrel in both feet and meters.

A: Yes, the Cooke 50mm T2.8 miniS4/i Cine Lens (Feet) would work with the Sony FX9 if you add a PL adapter to the camera. Please note that the Cooke 50mm is made to work with the cameras S35 sensor mode in 4k. This lens will not support 6K Full frame sensor modes on the Sony FX9.

Q: 2. Will the SLR Magic PL to EF adapter work with this lens bundle and a BMPCC 6K (EF)? Thanks in advance!

A: NO! no PL to EF adapter will work on these lenses DZO ships the lenses with both mounts and they would have to be physically swapped by a lens technician or the end user

[T2.8] True 2x anamorphic with Panavision C style look. T2 a little soft, but truly unique character. High build quality. Wish there was a way to add lens data via the mount. /i data. 5

[Super35/APS-C] I am not really able to compare it to the others in the set yet… but it’s a safe bet this is the weakest of the 4 or 3if FF only. Partially just from to the focal length not conveying the look as strong as the wider lenses but also it really works best stopped down a tad…as it’s rather soft wide open. However I am def still very impressed by the overall quality and quality of these… they don’t feel cheap just small … shockingly small. The 100mm in PL is smaller than my RF 50mm f1.2! Impressed by this but it comes at the cost of some obvious chromatic aberrations… still for the money this is great and 1.5x may seem to enough squeeze the bokeh and flares look very anamorphic to my eyes shockingly so. If you order just one maybe the 45mm 65mm or if your on smaller than 17mm high S35 sensors… get the 35mm . This lens great but don’t make it your only option. 5

[11] I've used ROKINON lenses which were quite above average. The Sirui anamorphic lens was even better. I just finished my first feature using the Sirui. Now that I just used this Meike FF on my Bmpcc4k for my trailer.... I am just blown away by the depth of field, bokeh and color depth of this lens. The quality, the weight, the build quality is on par to a much more expensive cine lens. This is the range of a 5k plus cine lens. I'm planning on buying the other focal lengths as well 5
