Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this accomodate model 525 with dual spiked feet?

A: I use it with a 546 model with dual spiked feet. I can't find a good shot of the 525's feet, but it looks like the same type from that size of Manfrotto tripods.

Q: 2. I have a Manfrotto 546B tripod, purchased from B&H, that I'd like to use with this dolly. While the 114MV's description does say that it's for dollies with spiked feet , it doesn't mention the 546B specifically as a compatible tripod. Is it?

A: The Manfrotto 114MV Cine/Video Dolly is compatible with the 546B tripod.

Q: 3. Can I use this dolly with sachtler flowtech 75 spike foot?

A: Yes, you will be able to use the Sachtler Flowtech 75 Spike Foot tripod with this dolly.

Q: 4. I wanted to know if the model Acebil D3 and D5, are they compatible with the tripod Manfrotto 546b?

A: This particular combination is unknown so we cannot say for sure. However, the feet seem similar enough that the rubber tie-downs look like they would do the intended job. However, I would like to suggest that if you need something for the Manfrotto 546b, get the Manfortto 114MV Cine/Video Dolly. It is slightly more affordable and we know that will work.

Q: 5. Will it work with this tripod FEISOL CT-3441T ?

A: One would need to attach Feisol short spikes to make the tripod usable with the dolly: https://bhpho.to/2FQufIF

Q: 6. Can I use this with the iFootage Wild Bull T5S with the spiked feet (rubber feet removed)?

A: Yes, the Acebil D3 Dolly for Professional Tripods is compatible with the iFootage Wild Bull T Series T5S Aluminum Alloy Tripod.

Q: 7. Can this dolly be used on a tripod without spiked feet?

A: The Acebil D3 is only compatible with spiked feet tripods.

Q: 8. Will this fit Mafrotto 190 legs?

A: Yes

Q: 9. What is the difference between Manfrotto 114 and Manfrotto 114MV?

A: Manfrotto 114MV Cine/Video Dolly is designed for use with tripods with spiked feet, while the 114 is designed to work with tripods that have standard legs. They both have the same load capacity, it is just a matter of the way a tripod is connected to the dolly and the tripods that they are compatible with.

Q: 10. Will the Manfrotto 114MV Tripod Dolly work with a Bogen 3046 tripod (which has exposable spikes)?

A: No, the Manfrotto 028B Triman Camera Tripod with Geared Center Column is not compatible with the Manfrotto 114MV Cine/Video Dolly for Tripods with Spiked Feet.

[Aluminum] I use this in my studio with a Manfrotto 475B tripod and teleprompter rig. With all the gear including shot bags it's probably carrying 35+ pounds and does that with ease. Since the floor is carpeted and cable snag is not an issue, I removed the cable guards from the wheels as they tend to drag on the carpet. Overall I'm very pleased with this dolly.

[Spiked Feet] You really can't destroy these things. They are well-built and work very well for shooting situation that require moving the camera often. I had a large production at multiple facilities that require moving the camera from point to point over the course of the day. The first shoot I carried it around and by the end of the day, couldn't move my arms anymore. This was a lifesaver. It's expensive, but if you have a 20lb+camera rig, it is well worth the money. One note to keep in mind is that it is very wide and may not fit through doorways under 36". Also, be sure to purchase the correct model. This one is for spiked tripod legs but there is a similar model for non-spiked legs.

[Spiked Feet] Extremely solid and well built. But the legs are not extendable, so you get what you see. The Teather dollies, have extending legs that surpass these, and maybe not as well built like this, but certainly at a lower price point, give these guys a run for their money.

[Spiked Feet] The Manfrotto 114 tripod dolly is superb. It is a bit heavy, compared to other units, but the stability and peace of mind it can provide for your ($$$) equipment more than makes up for the added weight. This is my second unit I have purchased from B&H. The 5 inch wheels make moving your equipment across a variety of floor surfaces a breeze.

I particularly like the fact that the tripod legs lock onto the dolly, using a screw-in clamp mechanism in lieu of a stretchy rubber strap. I use some hefty Sony equipment (FX-9) + servo zoom lens, 5 inch monitor and a 150 WH V-lock battery to power everything all of which is mounted on a 15 inch rail system atop a Manfrotto Nitro tech N-12 head, plus a heavy duty carbon fiber tripod

I can honesty say that this dolly is built like a tank and moves large rigs such as what I use with no problem at all. Least of all, I have no worries about such a rig tipping over should someone accidentally bump into it at an event. It's going nowhere.

Thanks Manfrotto & B&H

[Yes] I purchased these wheels to help move the camera in large locations, such as a warehouse. It's built like a tank and works with my Sachtler tripod without issue. It even works as a down and dirty dolly if needed.
